so it looks like no true impact players coming to NE. no reworking of contracts to sign anyone of note. going into the season with last year's offense and defense skill players minus jc Jackson. what's left? other teams cuts, jags, draft picks and udfa....
I thought so many teams were in cap jail, but somehow they work their way out of it...

Where is our cap tied into?
Which players?

Stop the misinformed whining. There are A TON of good players still available. Did you just start following them last off-season and think that is how they operate every year? We are back to our usual FA day 1/2 blue balls. Just dunk your bag in a bowl of ice water and wait until the initial wave is over.

If and when they really want a guy badly and need to add more cap space, they will make the necessary moves. Teams do not have to be under the today. Just go to @Miguel’s Twitter page to see how they can open up tens of millions of dollars in cap space, if they so desired.

The patriots were embarassed and demolished in the playoffs by the bills. BBs response is resigning four of his own free agents with mean age of 35.

Patience is one thing, but passivity will not improve this team. Yes its early in free agency but does anyone really believe they will sign a true impact UFA? They are running it back with mediocre players from ladt year.
Pats will be battling Jets for last place.

According to PFF, Jack sucked at everything but pass rush last year.. And pass rush was mediocre. He put up zero sacks for the 2nd year in a row.

Jack had issues with the new coaching staff last year. They didn't mesh at all. Even after Meyer was gone.

From what I’ve read, is they paid him to be a MLB. He couldn’t handle green dot duties. He was then used at the OLB position. The word is, he’s not a leader

I’d love to get him on a one year prove it deal. 6’1, 245lb line backers who run 4.4’s -4.5 are rare, and he perfectly fits our desired LB profile, except he’s not slow.

He’s only 26 years old. I hope we at-least make a call.

LOL... really? That seems really rich for a JAG. Rather draft a guy in the 5th round
He's a good 3rd down receiving back and pass blocker. Rushed an avg 4.4 ypc. Just another weapon for Allen.

He was effective for Washington last year but feels redundant with Singletary.
