So...who has he hired as a coordinator from the jump other than Pees? That was my whole point SMH. The guys you're giving were brought in as position coaches. Hell, Bielema and Schiano should have been brought in with the idea of being the DC. Never got that job though.
YOU have no damn point. That's the problem. You keep changing what you're saying. Both the previous asinine posts of yours that I responded to claimed that Belichick didn't like to hire from "outside the organization" or "outside the family". You made ZERO reference to talking about Coordinator positions until after you got shown that your take was WRONG. The fact of the matter is that Belichick HAS gone outside the organization to hire Coordinators (Bill O'Brien, Schiano, Pees). Just because you don't like the facts doesn't change that they are facts.
SCHIANO DID get the job. He was the DC for a month before realizing how much MORE it would take at the PRO level. That's when he turned in his papers to "retire". BIELEMA was hired as the DL Coach. He chose to move on instead of being promoted within the Patriots. Jedd Fisch would have been the eventual successor to McDaniels except Fisch got offered the HC job at the University of Arizona.
Hell, if you want to get technical, then Brad Seely was an "OUTSIDE" hire since Seely wasn't in Belichick's coaching family. Belichick retained Seely after Carroll was fired. Seely was the ST Coordinator. Scott O'Brien was hired to replace Seely without having to move up through the ranks. Granted, he was Belichick's ST's Coordinator with the Browns from 1991-1995 so that could be considered an "in the family" hire.
If Judge is literally the best OC they can get because he doesn't question Bill or will just have the title but Bill runs the plays then this team is in trouble. Please hire an outside OC if this is the case.
You're smoking too much crack if you think that the people Bill hires don't question or challenge Bill. That's the trope of the imbecile brigade who also believe that Belichick doesn't hold his kids to a HIGHER standard. That Belichick has never been challenged by the likes of Patricia, McDaniels, etc. Despite EVERY BOOK written by Holley about the Patriots giving example after example of people challenging BB and NOT being "Yes" men.
