They would probably have been 13-4 or 14-3 in the regular season and in the AFC championship game with Brady this year.
This issue of how far we go this season with Tom is on the defense. Either they fall apart like we saw or they step up and play inspired trying to send him to retirement with another Lombardi.

Who’s to say Tom would’ve even played this past season. It was painfully obvious he was not happy with his personnel in 2019. The 2020 version wasn’t any better. He could’ve just said screw it I don’t need to deal with the Nkeal Harry’s of the world any longer, I’m done.
Brady was not happy in 2019 mainly because of the contract situation. the lack of weapon and the crappy OL simply exacerbated that. Brady would have been fine with a multi year extension.

In back to back games against the Bills, the Pats defense let the Bills score on every drive. In one of those games, the Bills scored a TD on every drive. How would Brady have changed that? The Pats this year had a similar year to 2019.

The Pats were not getting through Buffalo with or without Brady. Brady might have let the Pats draw a different match up and won a game before exiting the playoffs. The defense could hold up against any of the top teams in the AFC the way it was playing down the stretch.
Offense and defense go hand in hand.

It's all hypothetical of course, but my guess is that with Tom last season the Pats would have been more successful

There is a possibility that the defense stepped up for Brady. There did seem to be a serious lack of passion and fire by the defense post the bye. But I think their problems went well beyond motivation.

There are plenty of teams that are great on side of the ball and awful on the other. You can argue one of the teams in the Super Bowl fits in that category and the other team just beat a team In that category to get to the Super Bowl.

I agree he was insulted with the one year deal.

Let’s say we give him that multi year deal. He’s still going to have to put up with below average weapons in 2020 plus covid opt outs. It’s a fair question to ask after going through 2019 part 2 if he wants to continue or just call it a career.

For sure. Our front 7 was absolute trash. And in the secondary Bryant couldn’t hold up the season to replace Jones. Buffalo exploited these weaknesses.

I have no doubt in my mind that if Bill would have gave him a multi year deal and trust Brady. Brady would have played out his contract and would have put up with 2020. Brady would not have broke that trust and bailed on the Patriots.

It was all orchestrated. That's why Kraft was angry in public.

Now Kraft knows the anger some fans felt when he let Brady go.
Reports refute Early Bird throwing a fit. Maybe yelled out a WTF and the kibbie was just that for a man in his 80s.

I agree that Buffalo was a bad matchup. So having a QB that leads you to the number 1 seed instead of the 6th and drawing a different match up is huge. That could be the difference between winning a SB or getting out in the division round.

Admitting you're a troll is the first step in recovery.

Not all trolling is bad. On the other hand, over just two hours you have posted 17 times in this thread alone. Who needs remedial help?

Nelly was cute

There is one on weekends with a tattoo on her foot.
There was one on Channel 7 that was a smoke as well. Don't recall her name, not there now.

I agree that it was intentional that he didn’t mention the Patriots. But I don’t this it was to take purposefully a jab at the Patriots. In my opinion Brady thought that he closed the Patriots chapter to years ago and already thanked everybody twice (when he left and the week of the game) and that in this instance he wanted to close the Bucs chapter .

I agree that it would have been the right thing to mention the patriots but Brady had many opportunities to take a jab at the Patriots the last two years and he never did. I don’t know why he would start now.

Dylan Dryer?
I have no idea. I used to see her when I was doing cardio at Planet Fitness. She would come on the overhead TVs, but I couldn't hear it or read her name. I just remember thinking that she was obviously in the gym regularly and was very fit. I looked forward to her coming on around 6:12am on cardio days. LOL

There was one morning in particular that she wore a dress that made her look like a super hero. I joked on FB about it, "Super Mega Ultra Lightning Babe" and that why it stuck with me. But if she walked in the room, I couldn't pick her out of a lineup now, however.

EDIT: I googled Dylan Dryer. 100% not her.

You do realize Brady unfollowed the Patriots on IG in 2020, don't you? I don't know if he's following them now, but he definitely wasn't when he left here.

I always thought this Bucs writer was a clown…

Ehhh it was only 2 years but he broke pretty much every QB record in franchise history lol. So there is that

The Pats weren't winning the Super Bowl with or without Brady this year. I mean there might have been a chance the Pats got the first round bye, won their first game, and lost in the AFC Championship Game, but I think that was as far as they probably could have gone with Brady and that defense and offensive weapons.
