Semi OT: Flores suing NFL and NYG. Texts from Bill involved in the suit.

Feel bad for Flores. Not sure what this does for his chances at a HC job but he ****ing deserves a HC job.

What he did in Miami was pretty impressive IMO. He won 7 or 8 straight with Tua as QB, beat us 2x and had a winning record the last 2 years. He shouldn't have even been fired so makes you think at least some of what he say's is probably true.

If everything he says is true, really makes you wonder about all the illegal **** that goes down with teams, you would have to be naive to think this is a isolated case.

What's impressive is that he put together back to back winning seasons despite having to answer to the worst owner in the NFL not named Woody Johnson.

He’s definitely gonna get blackballed.
He already is, no?

J/K, couldn't resist.

You've been getting it right for a while now, keep going!

Bill thought he was talking to Daboll lol wut!
Still nothing wrong with what BB texted, he wasn’t breaking any rules.

Ross is in trouble, as are the Giants.

The Pats should get both of the Phins 1st rd picks for tampering.

Flores will be the Pats DC, nobody else will touch him after this.

You want me to believe whites are smarter than blacks at coaching?
Who said that?
Why would the % of players matter? Shouldn’t the effort to make coaching a race based quota be based upon the % which choose coaching as a career?
What % of high school football players are black/white? Why would you expect the % who become good coaches to equal the % who are skilled players? They are different skill sets all together.

Because in a 40 race it's clear who wins the race. There has never been any test for smarts or anything else that have provided evidence otherwise.

And I submit that the nepotistic spawn of coaches and execs that riddle the hierarchies of the NFL, while they can't even hire black coaches when 68% of the league is black, shows how this whole system is perpetuated.
I'm firmly on your side of this argument, but I don't think this is a good road to go down. While what I highlighted is true (I'll add, it's because of selective breeding by slave owners), it will only lead to the "race realist" crowd pulling out increasingly obscure statistics about IQ and skull circumference.

The important thing here is that Flores was straight up lied to and his time was wasted. It's not that he was passed over because he was black, but he was placed in that position because he was black. It's racism, but we have to be careful in how we talk about this.

I can't see how Ross isn't forced to sell the team if what Flores is alleging here is true. Also a bunch of first rounders taken away.
C'mon, man, if this becomes anything like a genuine threat to the league rather than some damn ugly media content, they will totally circle wagons and protect their own.

Remember what Krafty Bob said, it's about the 32, and Ross is one of the 32.

I mean, this is almost Black Sox level bad isn’t it? The owner conspiring to try and lose games on purpose. This is indescribably bad.
I mean, they have to force him to sell the team, right?

It all depends on how BB knew it. I'm on hiring committees all the time. We know to conduct the entire process. Precisely for situations like this. if you invite a candidate, you can't give the job to someone else prior to the conclusion of the process. This is basic stuff.
Well you can, there is no law that says if you find your guy before all the interviews are complete you can’t offer him the job on the spot. There is fierce competition for the top candidates.
And they didn’t give the job to him before Flores interview.

Because in a 40 race it's clear who wins the race. There has never been any test for smarts or anything else that have provided evidence otherwise.
Well, there has been. Obviously, the predictable response is "that's racist" and discussing it will get you banned off most websites. You're fine with implying there's a genetic trait favored one way, but not the other.

If an "interview" as defined in the Rooney Rule has no shot of proceeding further, is it really an interview? Seems like it would be in bad faith legally.

Giants might be in trouble too.

Dolphins owner wanted to tank for Joe Burrow he should get an award not punishment now he’s stuck with Tua think about that. If bill did that y’all would praise him

Seems Roger may have some questions to answer Super Bowl week...

Steve Belichick hasn't won a single game!!!!
Very true. But Doug Pederson has a better winning percentage than Flores, and has actually won a Super Bowl, yet he's still currently out of work.

It's not all about credentials, particularly when it's about a job where there are so many variables that make up success. That's why "I've got the credentials!" generally doesn't really prove anything on its own in situations like this.

This won't hold up in court, and it could potentially get him blacklisted. I don't get why he would do it. If you fail, many teams won't want to hire you.

That's a good point. Snyder is also still around...

Your 2nd part answered the question. They’re not going to hold an owner to the same standards of proof as they would a player. Flores needs physical evidence or else your right this will be swept under the rug.

Only person who got fired from the redskins organization was gruden. And that's only because he called goodell a p***y so they selectively leaked his statements.

I guarantee there's way worse emails in those Redskins investigation. But it will look bad on the owners and the league. Hence they are sealed.

NFL will run a sham investigation into the dolphins and find no wrongdoing

Giants might be in trouble too.

They interviewed three black coaches

Read the post I responded to. It was implied that if blacks are athletically superior to whites in general, why couldn't the reverse be true (whites are better strategists or coaches, things we associate with kinds of intelligence, Belichick is called a "genius" after all).
