My guess is that #12 is pondering this decision, but the best way to "gin up" some enthusiasm about it is to leak reports to select reporters so that they can inadvertently help promote his brand and then Tom Yee can deny it. Is he or is he not going to retire?? Will this health food nut continue to endorse Subway?? I'm not sure how retirement differs from flat out cutting a guy for the NFL books, but either way, he is getting his signing bonus.

More than any other sport, it's a team game. Individual players or coaches can be catalysts but they never win in a vacuum, they need the right combination of complementary components to succeed. Crediting one individual (player OR coach) as sole reason for winning is an oversimplified misunderstanding of how the game works.
