The thing is Agholor was streaking down the field and didn't have to stop to catch the ball. Here is the play. Agholor isn't breaking stride on the pass. That means the there wasn't too much air or it was a floater. It came down exactly when it was supposed to.
When a ball gets too much air or is a floater that allows the defender to adjust on the ball to make a play, it usually either has the receiver breaking stride to wait for the ball or the receiver is flat footed. But you are hitting the area the receiver is in stride on a deep pass, the problem isn't the ball velocity. If he threw that ball with more velocity, he would have overthrown Agholor.
Geez....even Adalilus Thomas was preaching “Humble Pie” in 2007.Judon’s post game comments say it all: the defense started to believe their own hype and sat on their laurels during and after our win streak. Embarrassing.

Yep. Possible. Thanks for the run down. Id say at least part of it is typical BBs dont let the outside know more than they have to.
Part of not giving titles outside was prob a bit of a “hiding“ coaches he didnt want to lose too early. I felt that was the case with Flores, maybe Mayo as well. With unprecedented success came also unprecedented “poaching“ of NE staff and this might be one way to slow the bleeding a bit..
I guess the only way to stop Josh Allen is to have our own Josh Allen. It worked well for the JagsOnly way you stop Allen from running around is....
Tight man coverage in the secondary, Make him hesitate.
Sideline to sideline speed at DE, Edge and LB
Tackle great
Containment by the DTs and DEs
Blow him up.
Pray
These are designed runs we are talking about. Just gashed. Christ.
I thought that Hyde play was one of the better defensive plays I've seen this year....tip your hatThe problem is not the pass. The problem was that Micah Hyde knew Jones was throwing that pass to Agholor Long before he threw it. There was a tell somewhere. I don‘t think Mac telegraphed it, but Hyde only gets there if he moves that way well before the ball is thrown.
Yup, Micah Hyde is the closest thing to Ed Reed in the NFL today.I thought that Hyde play was one of the better defensive plays I've seen this year....tip your hat

Josh Allen is 6-5 240 and runs a 4.7. For a QB that is insane.I guess the only way to stop Josh Allen is to have our own Josh Allen. It worked well for the Jags
Keep repeating that to yourself.
Jones UNDERTHREW the WR and that is why Hyde picked off the TD BEHIND Agahlor. There was hardly any velocity on the ball.
After the Welker drop in the Super Bowl, Brady said that he threw to the left side of Welker because he feared a NY DB would make a play on the pass if he threw to the opposite side. Jones didnt throw to where nobody else but Agahlor could get it. Furthermore, Brady in his prime would have thrown more that 2 passes in the Bills 40 mph wind game.
Jones long balls are mostly rainbows. He threw checkdowns constantly last night. The batted ball at the LOS was on Jones and not a great play. Were the 3 or 4 batted passes vs Miami great plays by the Dolphin defense too? The book on Jones is get your hands up.
Actually Hyde said the opposite.
I don’t believe him but the all-22 will tell us. If he got a late jump . . . Idk.
I understand the argument about the talent on offense but IMO we have talent, we simply didn’t optimize it.
Agholor had 900 yds last year for Vegas with 8 TD. 6 of them for more than 20 yards. This year only 450 yds.
Smith had 450 yds last year with 8 TD. He was a RZ nightmare last year. This year he had less than 300 yds and was a complete non factor.
all the players suddenly forgot how to play when thy become Patriots or is there another reason for that?
This isn’t the all 22, but it does show the routes ran in real time. As the deep safety, he would have had to do over the to support even if Jones didn’t throw it to Agholor.
I know he thinks that but every player will never admit they weren't good enough.Judon’s post game comments say it all: the defense started to believe their own hype and sat on their laurels during and after our win streak. Embarrassing.
I don't envy BB, Josh Allen is the real deal. Nightmare to gameplan against, makes any throw and can rush for 70 yards.Josh Allen is going to be a problem for a while.
Now we are on the other side of other division teams looking at us and scratching their heads trying to figure out an answer to that problem.
