NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Week 18 Other Games Thread

Refs at it again with a blatent no call to decide the game.

Exactly. The opposing team can take the air out of the ball. It's game over. Your chances are so much better if you keep it a one score game.

Yeah...

It changes the opponent, and goal, of the team in the lead. Instead of that team fighting the opponent, and having to get first downs, it puts the lead team in the position of fighting against the clock, which is a known enemy.

And, to be clear, I'm talking in general, and not specifically about tonight.

Excellent fumble by Herbert.

This is one interesting game

You lose.

But your chances were still vastly improved doing it this way.

You're asking, "What if you miss at the end of the game?"

Why not ask, "What if you miss when you score that first TD?"

I think they're both bad situations. This is less of a debate with the amount of time remaining because with just 3-4 minutes, you're probably only getting two possessions at most anyway. There is potential onside kick considerations, but we're looking at small percentages. If there were, say, 10 minutes remaining, would you rather know at that point how aggressive you should be, considering it may be a one possession or two possession game, or would you also prefer to find out later on whether ot not your 2 point play is a success?

about time.

He shot-putted that. Don't know how Terry Macaualy doesnt see that

I need a blow

That’s clearly incomplete. I’ve never seen a ball move forward from the QB when it was a fumble.
How does an official not get that right on the field?

At least this review gives San Diego a chance to rest. They shouldve called TO after the Kennan Allen catch.

Staley keeps getting bailed out by his QB. Awful coach. Your WRs are exhausted as hell. CALL A TIMEOUT.

Maybe. But the ref on the broadcast says he's in firm control. He's not. He's lost control but is shot putting it forward.

Chargers receivers keep dropping it. This is going to be 4th and 10 again soon, isn’t it?

These Chargers receivers can't catch ****. I want a tie!

Got it on 3rd down. 1st time out used, 50 yards to go.

Now we're getting more into a context situation, IMO. For example, just to point to the Bucs/Panthers QBs as my options, is my QB Brady, who's more likely to be able to get the two scores, or is my QB Sam Darnold?
