Game Day Thread Official Post Game Thread- Bills beat the Pats

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Just FYI - the play is over as soon as the butt hits the ground. His back doesn’t have to be down.
It's all context that we're missing without the complete video at full speed. Have you watched American football games before? Not sure because you may have missed the hundreds of thousands of times in the past where players try to rip/punch the ball out milliseconds (or more) after the play's supposed to be over. Doesn't even look like a real punch - probably slowed it down when Judon realized that Allen was down. Like I said, imho Judon got all ball with that punch, anyway.

Clear penalty.
Swings after Allen is on the ground.
Thank you for finding it.

Hold on. Are we seeing the same play? In real time speed looks like he's going for the ball. Did you miss the part where he offers his hand to Josh Allen and helps him get up ???

Allen made great throws.

John Elway type throws rolling right and throwing a dart across the field.
Mac made a throw like that the week before.

If you answer my question first, I will answer your quesion second.
The answer to my question either answers or informs yours, depending upon how you like to work percentages.

Welker:

Edelman:

Gunner:

So, if you're hoping Gunner's going to be the next thing as the NEP SlotWR, you're hoping for something more like Troy Brown:

So the answer to your question is found in the answer to the question "What do you think the odds are of Gunner turning into another Troy Brown?". Which leads us back to

"This is year 3 of his tenure. What signs has he shown?"

Chad Pennington... Peyton after his injury.... Peterman... etc...

And, while you don't need to have Josh Allen's arm, having an adequate arm, that can make all the necessary throws, is essential in the NFL.

The way Allen uses his arm strength stands out. Generally arm strength is indeed incredibly overrated. But he can run backwards to a spot diagonal from the pocket and quickly throw cross body to the middle of the field with impressive velocity. I don’t really care much for these guys who supposedly can throw the ball 80 yards in practice or whatever they claim. Few ”big armed QBs” actually use it to their advantage frequently, other than an occasional highlight reel play.

To me, so far, Allen is Brett Favre, stylistically.

A lot of blame towards the defense. Imo the game was lost for two reasons: Bills outplayed the Pats on all facets of the game but more importantly, Pats were outcoached. Pats coaches didn't seem to make any adjustments to counter what the Bills were doing. Fvking McKenzie, a 5'8" 173# WR4 torched our secondary with a career day. Little Steven sucks ass.

You know the rules on this forum. Bill absolutely embarrassed McDermott in game 1 in a historic coaching clinic. The Bills talent was too much to overcome for the untalented Patriots in game 2.

Belichick would be the first to admit his coaches didn't do a good enough job.

But how often does he really mean that? And, to be clear, I don't mean that as a dig. It's just an acknowledgment of the statement generally just being a standard toss out.

I'm not talking about his post game standard speal. If you got him one on one, he would absolutely acknowledge he got outcoached. I believe him to be a man with integrity. He knows it. Most of us know it. The homers will continue to be blind to it.
