Who do we root for?

Romo just said "that's a back breaker right there" as KC goes up 30-0. No Tony, the "back breaker" was when Big Raper nearly broke his back hefting that bag of Mickey D Happy Meals for all the little girls in the stands before the game

Really?… that is awesome.

Nothing officially but pretty sure. been on the playoff machine for 100 hours or so and everything i put in has us making it at 10-7

On the ESPN machine it looks like there are a lot of paths to a game 3 in mid January between the Bills and Pats in Buffalo. Division playoff games are always interesting.

yeah that seems to be the matchup i am getting mostly

I was fantasizing about the Pats beating the Bill on their home turf. That would be so satisfying.
This is the way we should be thinking because with a win against the Jags next week, we'll have a discussion of whether to purposely lose against the Phins.

Assuming the Bills are automatic to beat the Jets (which, I don't think BB will be thinking this way) a win against the Phins would send the Patriots to Indy or Buffalo on the first weekend, whereas a loss to the Phins would send them to Tennessee (I think it's greater than 90% that Tennessee is going to be the 2nd seed.)

So--who would we rather play? @ Tennessee? Or @Buffalo/@Colts? All depends on whether we beat or lose to the Phins.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Clearly.

Holy cow, this is even more complicated than I thought. I guess we will know much more in a week.

To be quite honest;.l I( think we take our 1st round loss in stride and look forward to next season with a bolstered roster of draft picks and FA's. Mac showed his rookie status today. Can't throw INT's at home and have a lousy completion percentage too.

Someone should make a bot or script to go through all the scenarios without us clicking everywhere

Yes, please someone do that.

I didn't get one....honest to Tom666...I'll go look back now
Haha. It was in the “I’m a dad” one. I took a sabbatical from here. Then the team dropped two in a row since, so I cut it short.

100 hours… thank you for your service!

My bad, just put in the Raiders winning the last 2 and Miami also winning out, they are both getting in over us at 10-7. So at 10-7 would need Miami OR Oakland to lose one more (Oakland has Colts / SD and Miam has no/TEN/ us). So still not 100% safe but its' very very unlikely we'd miss the playoffs as long as we beat Jax.

Ugh, this is starting to feel like 2008. Will Miami ruin our season again??

THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR SERVICE! Not sarcastic.

Yeah, based on what I'm seeing the Pats are guaranteed in with 2 wins; if they lose to Miami, and Miami wins vs the Saints/Titans/Pats (not likely), Miami will pass NE in the seeding overall (i.e. they'll become the 6th seed), but Pats would still get the 7th seed, unless Oakland wins vs Indianapolis/LAC (not likely).

anytime! Certainly an outside chance mia overtakes us , albeit small imo with Tennessee too in the way. But I really see no way Oakland beats both indy and sd
