I agree with the general point about the double-standard and especially the highlighted in yellow, but the notion Rodgers "contributed to a public heallth crisis" is a laughable exaggeration.

Ohhhhhhh.... so if it is "only a few minutes of someone's life" then we punish them by withholding health care... but if it something like smoking which someone does for decades, then they get health care like everyone else.

So what about people that engage is statistically risky behavior, such as motor cycle riding and sky diving? If someone gets into a motorcycle accident, why should they get treatment when they so willingly put themselves at high risk?

All I am asking is for some logic and consistency from those who advocate the unvaccinated going to the back of the line. I am still waiting to see just a shred of same.

There isn't "reason to believe".

Its 100% certain the NFL didn't investigate Rodgers for violating COVID protocols as aggressively as the investigated TB12 for not being able to invalidate the ideal gas law.

All your runaround and personal attacks do nothing to remove me from my thesis, which I have stated several times now: My opinion is that unvaccinated people should still be treated like anyone else if they get Covid. There should be no punishment, no moving them to the back of lines, no burden they have to share that others don't, no withholding care, etc, etc.

Why the above upsets so many people so much remains a complete mystery.

Because you're not arguing in good faith. Bad driving increases car insurance. Smoking increases health insurance and life insurance.

The thing with Rodgers is that not only did he violated protocol... but he lied about his vaccination status, the league and the Packers knew it and they did not take action AT ALL until he got sick.

The reason why the league is not being more severe is because THEY are hugely part of the **** up. They considered Rodgers unvaccinated, therefore knew he had to follow the unvaccinated protocol, and let him break the rules for 8 weeks. Someone at the NFL office should be fired over this. But nothing will happen because a large proportion of the USA, ie of their fans, is into the same antivaxx bs as Qaron.

Yeah other teams lost draft picks. Other than the NFL dropping the ball and instead of admitting that, decided to not hit GB hard because we surely do not want to upset Rodgers who will cry about it no matter what.

Yeah, it's interesting. The messaging of "we take COVID seriously" was considered done by making the rules. The above/better-than-the-law crowd has a ready-made NFL messiah in Rodgers. They're also the crowd that thinks their right to swing their fist trumps your nose's right to exist and will cry -- literally -- in court about how threatening they found your nose. I look forward to A Positive refusing to pay his fine and becoming some kind of cause celebre.

It took the league 4 months to investigate the Pats filming Bengals debacle that all happened within an hour with multiple witnesses.

It took them a couple of days to investigate 8 weeks of film inside GBs facilities to monitor covid violations.

The NFL has ZERO credibility when it comes to this crap but they continue to get away with whatever the fv&k they want. There's no accountability.
