I think that might be part of the issue in some of these threads. A lot of you guys with older daughters are really good dads and there probably isn’t much of a chance that they would DM men to meet up and hook up just because those men were wealthy celebrities. Some can’t fathom that because it’s not the image they have in their heads for their daughters.

What investigation? This was a news article but, AFAIK, no criminal charges have been filed. There may be a lawsuit at some point, but that would just give us discovery and testimony, not a real investigation.

Me also thinks that if she then goes and delivers this story in the right way that a little hush money could just all of a sudden fall in her lap.

After reading the texts, a rape/sex assault case will be hard to prove in court.

Yeah, the same signs of past false allegations are cropping up. The allegations come long after the encounter and the woman initiates contact both before and afterward. Doesn’t mean their false, but there are definitely some red flags.

The far left/woke crowd have been going after Portnoy for years. According to him this reporter has been asking his previous girlfriends, girls he’s slept with and girls he hasn’t slept with for a long time about anything that will make him look bad. If this girl thought she was assaulted why talk to a reporter instead of the cops?

Quite honestly, by her own admission, this was an 8 month investigation. Considering the way Portnoy conducts himself, I think it speaks volumes that she found "only" 2 accusers.

There is a 20 year pattern of sketchy behavior with this guy, but I just don't see a pattern of rape. He has 2 accusers, one of whom he already discredited (assuming the text messages he presented were accurate, which I grant you is not known for certain since twitter is not exactly a court of law).

As for the other one.... people are, as usual, going to believe what they want to believe (which is all too often aligned with certain political beliefs).... let's just say that while one may believe what they choose, no intelligent person can dispute there is reasonable doubt based on what we know so far. (Key words: SO FAR. I reserve the right to change my mind if new info surfaces)

I’m just a regular dude. In no particular order, here are some of the things I’ve been asked to do to hook-ups I’ve met at bars, through Tinder or Bumble, or after concerts/festivals…

1) Choke the girl (multiple times).

2) Put my foot on a girl’s face as she was on all fours with her back fully arched. Then she told me to call her a “whore.”

3) Was told I wasn’t smacking one girl’s ass hard enough and that she wanted welts.

4) Finger the G-spot until she screams. The scream came with something else. Fun clean-up. It took days for the mattress and the carpets to dry up.

It is not a crime or illegal. However, is it appropriate, decent or the right thing to do for a 43 yo multimillionaire to use his fame and fortune to bed a 19 yo girl with little life experience and then throw her aside like used trash? THe girl does have some responsibility in this.....BUT, the girl has a lot less life experience to make proper judgments about what is right and what is wrong.
Just because you have the opportunity does not mean you should do it.

You would not view it as "pearl clutching" if you had a daughter or sisters of that age that you cared about.
