However I don't think Carolina nor Miami realistically believes they have a strong chance at winning anything this year.
MiamiDarnold goes where then?
Houston would be crazy to take that deal.Watson won’t play this year but he will next year. Thanks to McCAffrey’s outstanding durability, Carolina’s chances of the playoffs are slipping away fast. When healthy CMac is one of the funnest players to watch though. It was a good comeback story with Darnold but it fell short.
Would be interesting if Houston lands Darnold, McCaffrey and Gilmore. I think Carolina would be stupid to do it, I know franchise qb’s dont grow on trees but not sure I’d want him as the face of my franchise.
I don't see hiMiami
The article said Houston likes Carolinas young defensive talent.Houston would be crazy to take that deal.
Gilmore is old and broken. Mcaferty is stop gap for a few years. Darnold isn't the answer at any teams QB vacancy.
Watson is worth at least a 1st even though he is dire straits. Nobody will care about his legal issues 2 years from now. Someone new will be in the hot seat.
I hope Watson goes to Miami (because IMHO the loss of all those draft choices should torpedo the Fins for years, although I know many don’t agree). But trading for Watson makes zero sense for a team like Miami where virtually every position (e.g., defense at all levels, OL, RB) is a dumpster fire except for so-so recent play from QB recently and maybe WR they get healthy.Carolina has an outside chance of getting a wild card if they turn around their season quickly. They are currently within half a game of the final wild card. The Dolphins probably would probably have win at least eight of their last ten games (and more realistically nine of their last ten) which isn't happening with or without Watson
It was worth it.Olivia Culpo jinxed him.
Pittsburgh or Was should be sniffing around Darnold.I feel sorry for Darnold. We may never know what he might have become.
Home.Darnold goes where then?
Wash maybe, I dont see Pitt doing that.Pittsburgh or Was should be sniffing around Darnold.
I don't think so but I see why some people do. He will play and it won't be too long. He's guilty of taking out his private part trying to pick up girls. If they had more than that he would of been brought in. Say he doesn't play this year I think it's still worth it. Who knows how it will shake out though and you are right there is some risk because the NFL is so unpredictable in how it does business.
Of the 10 criminal complaints that had been filed against Watson as of last month, three allege sexual assault, defined in Texas as nonconsensual penetration. This is a second-degree felony.
Ownership signed off on the deal. Same ownershipThose people who made that trade are no longer with the Texans. Nick Caserio is running the show now.
