Thornton: N’Keal Harry Worst Acquisition of Belichick’s Career

I don't think that book on Harry is closed yet.
In the first half I noticed he was matched up on Diggs and what was Harry doing actually beating Diggs up at the line with power.
What did Diggs do pushing him in his face and draw a 15 yd penalty.

Harry is a good run blocker and a strong tall receiver we need to find a role for him even if it's just to over power people.
He's definitely not the worst BB pick.

Biggest question to me is why no accusations for Wilkerson?

Why did Gunner can completely fazed out this offense?

Why did we stop running the ball against the Cowboys?

Could BB have noticed the receiver's lack of separation vs college foe?
Others did.

N'Keal Harry WR Arizona State - Draft Player Profile | The Draft Network
They sure did

"Team sources call Harry not real twitchy or explosive. They worry about how he is not fast in and out of breaks and don't see suddenness. Some sources said that Harry reminded them of Ole Miss wideout Laquon Treadwell, who is currently headed toward bust status for the Vikings. Some other sources say they are grading Harry on the second day of the 2019 NFL Draft. One team source said they originally planned on grading Harry in Round 2, but were lowering him to the third round."- Walter Football

Haha you must be Harry’s grandmother. PFF graded out Harry as 56.2 blocker.

Harry SUCKS and it’s painful to watch 4 WRs drafted after him play at a pro bowl level.

tom brady knew one week into training camp Harry was a complete bum

Its amazing that the people in charge of scouting and drafting NE WRs still work in the NFL.

There is zero doubt in my mind that people on this board if given the task could find a good WR in these drafts.

I did not like the pick from the get go and warned this board that Harry could be a BUST.

I labeled Harry a size 14 shoe slow poke.

I used to think that Brady was hurting the team by freezing certain guys out.

Now I know it was because they absolutely suck and don't belong on the field at the same time as the GOAT.

The biggest issue for me was when we drafted Harry, there were two SEC stars with freakish physical dimensions still on the board (Brown and Metcalf) who were clearly better NFL prospects than Harry. We had a second shot at one of them in the 2nd round when we traded up, but we selected CB Icabad Crane from University of Sleepy Hollow.

Deebo was another one with great college tape and scouting reports, which showcased elite speed/separation ability. 49ers snagged him very fast after we drafted Harry.

Brady's been around the NFL long enough to know a scrub when he sees one. It wasn't just that he sucked, he dogged it in practice too. If you read Harry's NFL draft scout profile, he had work ethic issues at ASU.

Who?. Just kidding. Yeah can't even remember him playing a snap though, we all saw what Cyrus was capable of.

Cyrus was god awful but Duke Dawson was historically bad.

The New England Patriots selected Dawson in the second round with the 56th overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft. On August 30, 2019, Dawson and a seventh-round pick were traded to the Denver Broncos for a 6th round pick in return.

He needs to go. Special teams only for the rest of the season. This is shameful. What a waste of a first rounder.
