"We needed 60 great minutes of football, and well, we got 30..." I got a chuckle from that quote from Bill lol

It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Every super bowl the Patriots made since the nfl rules changed to help offenses (post 03) ..the Patriots had at least a pro bowl/hall of fame option on offense + Tom Brady who is far greater than MacI don't think you need a Hall of Fame WR to win. We've seen the focus on taking those guys out of the game. Having a stable of serviceable weapons where it's impossible to cover all of them is really the key. The set we have right now is actually great, we just need them all to gel and the line to keep blood off of Mac's clothing.
Once that happens and Mac adjusts his throws a bit. I think we'll be golden. I saw a couple of throws I think Mac needed to put some more speed under and get the ball there quicker. I think he focuses on throwing the most catchable ball possible, but some of those mid level throws he just needs to laser in there.
Who cares. This is a loser mentality. Can the guy play really good football and help mac get to the Super Bowl? Who cares if he’s not a Boy Scout, this is the nfl not an Eagle Scout program. This thought process is why we select “good guys” like Mohammad Sanu, Aaron Dobson and Nkeal Harry over athletic freaksWhich is also why a diva receiver would be undervalued here and probably angry.
That and the OL shout out."We needed 60 great minutes of football, and well, we got 30..." I got a chuckle from that quote from Bill lol

How many of those superbowls you mentioned did we win?Every super bowl the Patriots made since the nfl rules changed to help offenses (post 03) ..the Patriots had at least a pro bowl/hall of fame option on offense + Tom Brady who is far greater than Mac

Can Mac make the super bowl without one receiving or running option whose even close to a pro bowl talent?? I think the answer is a resounding no. Mac played at university of Alabmba with elite receivers. Find him someone who can take one to the house and make game changing plays. I can’t watch any more of this 3 handoffs to special teams players in the redzone
They never showed an angle that explained it. Just more calls into the NY black holeI cant read the whole thread but does anyone know how they could have overturned that Harris touchdown? They would need clear evidence and they didnt show any good replays but the ones I saw it looked like he was over the line bfore it was fumbled.
2004 2014 2016 2018 so 4. that’s a lot of sb wins. Has any team woj the Súper bowl Since 2003 without a pro bowl talent on offense? How many of those superbowls you mentioned did we win?
Those were probably some bad examples. Obviously you need talent. I said that, what I said was you don't need a hall of fame receiver to win. You need a lot of good receivers. Having one or two pro bowl receivers or running backs is def an advantage. But it's more important to have 4or 5 quality guys than 1 really good one.
I like Meyers, Bourne, and Agholor a lot, as well as Henry and Smith. They're good, they all get good separation and have shown good hands. "Average" is a negative term the way you're using it, and they're better than that. With good QB play and the OL/running game playing at a half way decent level, we can win with those weapons. Harry would be a surprise if he can rise up, he hasn't shown that ability yet.2004 2014 2016 2018 so 4. that’s a lot of sb wins. a lot of “good receivers”. ok name them on our team?
meyers - average nfl wide receiver
bourne- average nfl wide receiver
aghlor- average nfl wide receiver
harry- below average nfl wide receiver
has any team since 2003 made the Súper bowl with worse receiving talent?
We had a chance to rebuild our offense and we spent all our money on Jonnu smith Hunter Henry kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor. We drafted only NKeal Harry and Damian Harris. Is this an acceptable offense?
Meyers would have been a 1000 yard receiver last year had they started him over Harry in the beginning of the year. With Newton throwing him the ball.2004 2014 2016 2018 so 4. that’s a lot of sb wins. Has any team woj the Súper bowl Since 2003 without a pro bowl talent on offense?

Aghalor had the highest yards per catch in the league last year and was almost a 1000 yards receiver
Bourne is starting to shine as a possession guy.
Harry sucks.
We lost White for the year
We have some unknown talent in Stevenson and Taylor
Henry has 75 yards and a TD last game and the TE group combined for over 100 yards.
You are acting like it's not a rookie throwing them the ball right now. Yes this team has the talent to be good.
Deeply suspicious. I really do think the NFL reviewing all Scoring and turnover plays is just a way for them to have more control over the outcomes as some of the calls are clearly wrong and yet it's allowed to continue week after week and there is very little said either at the time or after.I cant read the whole thread but does anyone know how they could have overturned that Harris touchdown? They would need clear evidence and they didnt show any good replays but the ones I saw it looked like he was over the line bfore it was fumbled.

Hm this revelation makes my conspiracy theory stance much harder to maintainRead the whole thread. Someone posted a screen grab that clearly showed the defender's feet on the goalline, his body bent over into the field of play and his arm punching out the ball before the goalline. I had not seen that view clearly during the replays but once I saw that screen grab, yeah, unfotrunatley, it was a fumble.
