How is it that Denver can afford the guys they have on that team vs the Ocean state job lot jags that Brady has to work with on the Pats. Do you think Denver has lot of money under the cap? There are 4 teams in the AFC better than the Pats right now and there is no excuse for it.

Pats first two picks here had lot of upside but injuries did them in.

Michel wasn’t a bad pick overall. He did help us win a SB. I think he would have been there later in the draft though if the Pats wanted to wait and invest a first round pick elsewhere.

The draft the year before- Rivers and company- now that was bad.

I mean, let’s start other threads. Here are a few suggestions :

-Brady was a system QB
-BB is an embarrassment because he only has 6 rings as a HC and only a couple more from his time with the Giants. Less than 10 = fail.
-Since NE doesn’t have many HoFers from the early 2000s, were they even a dynasty ?
-WR stats are all I live for & since NE rarely has players with awesome stats, they were never very good (even during SB seasons)

I guess the "Danny Amendola is a bust/made of glass" has finally been put to rest. Maybe some of these other threads will go away in another 10 years or so

The 2018 draft, after the first 45 picks, has been full of under performing talent. Of course there’s players who are succeeding, but overall that draft lacked talent. Of course Bill could’ve done better, but it should be viewed with context.
