Agreed. Honestly, if you make a list of Brady accomplishments, does this record even make the top 10 ? Give me rings - that live forever - ahead of records any day. What does this record even mean ? That Brady lives in an era where rules allow more yards & longer careers ?

Spot on. Tampa's run defense is brutal and their LBs fly all over the field. I feel like this game is on Mac's shoulders more than other games have been. Question is: is he ready for it on a Sunday night with Brady back in town?

i would say « yes » it’s ok, « no » he should not be judged on if he can/can’t beat the defending champs in his 4th pro game.

I always thought this was stupid anyway. They can honor him after the game.

What if Brady is in the middle of two minute drill with no huddle in an effort to keep the Pats' defense on their heels and stop them from substituting. Are they going to stop mid drive and give the Patriots an extra time out?

What if Brady gets the record by one yard and on the next play he passes the ball to a receiver behind the line of scrimmage and he is tackled for a two yard loss? Are they going to stop play when he breaks the record again?

It is a regular season game. So even if the Bucs lose, it won't take away from Brady's achievement. Have a ceremony after the game and honor him right.
