BB dragged Jones out of the field with him at the end of the game

Ignorance and dishonesty are like peanut butter and jelly. Reading your posts demonstrated this. Outright fake numbers, faulty reasoning, and triple down defensiveness. Lol.
I mean I am not calling him a liar, its probably something he saw. I am just saying its impossible to average 1.3 seconds before pressure. Again that would mean there are times that they get there in .6 seconds, which is impossible. You cannot average 1.3 seconds, he would never get a throw off. He would not have 50 throws he would have zero and he would be dead.

Well some of the difference is, Brady does some things before the snap to mitigate that a bit. He also feels pressure and moves. I am not saying that the oline is wonderful, its not, well at least some parts of it are not, but if you have a weak side, you move some backs over or you call a quick hitter up the middle to midigate the side pressure, or you call heavy block to one side. Some of this is just young QB, not all, maybe not even most, but some of it is. Young QB's are pressured more and its like that across the board. It just looks different because we are not used to it.

Yeah, but Jones probably doesn't have the flexibility to do things Brady could do presnap. Brady can make calls and change ups at the line that I cannot see Belichick and McDaniels ever letting a rookie QB in his third game call. So far, the Pats have been keeping Jones on a short leash for most of the first three games.

Not saying Jones could do what Brady does, but you cannot start to dismiss a rookie QB because he cannot do what the GOAT can.

Of course part of it is him. He needs to be better at setting his protection and picking up where the pressure is coming from. He did a great job against Fins with that, even though the Oline was still letting free runners through. The stunts are really messing him up, because he's not seeing where the free runner is vacating an area an it's making him hold the ball longer than he should.

The reality is, the Pats Oline is not doing their rookie QB any favors at all. He's not getting nearly enough time in a clean pocket to attempt many long throws. Which is the OP's bag on him. He's doing amazing from how often he's getting hit and how much his line is letting him down.

Oh No I am not saying that at all. Nor am I saying he should. I am not pointing fingers his way for the pressure, the oline is struggling, I am saying vet QB's can help mitigate that a bit even with bad olines. Young QB's are not there yet to do that. In no way is this a bash on him, its just how things are early on. Its a totally different game then they are used to. He will be fine.

That is not time before pressured. lol If you look a bit to the right you will notice he was pressured 16.3% If that pkttime was pressure time it would be 100 percent pressured. Its called time before pressure.

It's time before pocket collapse, I went back and looked at it. Time to actual pressure in his face is 2.3 seconds

he's at the bottom of the league in protection time. Of course he's not making 40 yard throws.

This is for sure true. I am in no way saying its his fault. Its not in any way. The oline is not great, and for a rookie its even worse than it would be normally. You basically have to set up long throws. If your plan is for a long throw on a play call, you have to read the defense, know where to shift blocking, or even use max protect, there are situations you cannot do that so you have to call for hot routes. This is not on Jones, he has played 3 freaking games. They need to block better and they are not. I was saying that the comination of how they are blocking on the right side and his inexperience is going to make it worse than it is.

Wow, this is primo Boston (Enquirer) Journalism.

Who has the most time with this pkttime? 2.3 sounds better. Or link me to that page if you can.

Also, there is this, he actually is sacked way more when he has longer than 2.5 seconds to throw

I swear I think there some people on this board who would just be happier if they became Bucs fans.
Being a Bucs fan is temporary - we all know they are going to suck once Brady retires - this is a team that should be considered "enjoy the ride while it lasts"

Mac has no time to throw because he is a ZERO threat downfield. No defense fears Mac Jones. Only stupid defenses would commits' resources downfield against Mac10. His game is check downs and dink and dunk passing.

Keep blaming and pointing fingers at everyone but old Mac, eventually the truth comes out.

Here, clodhopper, have your sister read it to you. Just try to focus on what she's saying and not her tushy.

It just goes to show the pretzel twisting logic and absurd ball washing people do to make a point. I’ve said from the beginning that arm strength and lobbing the ball 40-50 yards aren’t really correlated anyway because they’re often different things. But that point isn’t even part of this. It’s a weird cult thinking. We’ve all seen the games. There were plenty of times when Mac has had enough time and space to really air it out. Reducing arguments to ridiculous misleading stats, totally counter to common sense and reality, is why these threads are rarely productive. Clearly Mac has a lot of great skills and some question marks too.

You said average 1.3 seconds...No, no team has ever averaged 1.3 seconds before pressure in the history of football. Like I said the worst pass blocking oline in football last year averaged 2.6 seconds before pressure.
Wait, isn't 2.6 twice 1.3 or is my math wrong?
