Not true both Bekichick and Brady have a Superbowl win other than in NE. Belichick has 2 with the NY Giants and 6 with the Patriots. Brady has 1 with Tampa Bay.
POST. not pre.

This team could easily be 2-1 and things would look a lot different. The D is improving slowly with the linegetting more penetration at times. The biggest concern is the O llne. It just looks bad and i'm not sure its all down to Trents absence. 4 of last years starters are playing yet they look awful.

Way too early to say they were overvalued. C'mon now...

How has Thuney performed for the Queefs so far? Good? Bad?
Thuney has been good. Not great. Nobody on the team has really looked great.

One good player? Van Noy isn't good, Bourne? Brown? I know the tight ends haven't had great numbers so far and Juno had a disastrous game today, but I believe in the end, both him and Henry will be good. I think Goduacx will be decent as well.
Well, I think Van Noy is on the downside of his career. Bourne is Ok but nothing to brag about. At this rate Agholor will have Byrd number but we payed 10x more than Byrd for him. Brown has been consistently injured in the past and his play has been inconsistent. That’s why we got him for a 5th round pick. Godchaux has been ok but the run defense still looks horrible.

Judon has been the only bright spot from the FA class for now but I think the draft class has been good. Mac and Barmore looks good in my opinion.

With the talent that we had last year, he did an amazing job to win 7 games...you are the same poster that called Tom "noodle arm" and wanted him to retire in 2019.
I hear you but he is the GM. He is kind of the reason we had no talent last year.

A voice of reason

Anyone thought all these new players with a rookie QB would fire on cylinders Day 1 was smoking crack
I am with you but I remember quite clearly in the offseason the majority of the board saying that we had a top 5 OL, top 5 running game and an elite defense and we would be a playoff team, even a contender. That was the discussion in the offseason.

The moment Trent went down and they thought Herron or Durant were fine it was all over. Never a good sign when you start 1 scrub then switch scrubs at halftime, multiple weeks in a row. Compounded worse by an idiot oc who repeatedly calls shotgun regardless of how crappy the OLine pass protection is. We have a rookie QB with a freaking leg brace already and who just led his team in rushing because he was running for his life all day. Plus 11 QB hits. It's insane. It's totally bonkers. Team needs a new oc.
Today the problem from OL didn’t come solely on the RT. There was hole everywhere

Lazars post game show on twitter/youtube is worth listening to.......again some may know better but I find these decent reporting

Chiefs are 1-2, lost to the Chargers at home, and to make matters worse for the Chiefs, Reid was rushed to the hospital after the game. And the Chiefs have an all world QB, all world WR and all world TE, and yet are still 1-2. Weird season, SB loser curse maybe ?
Chiefs might have the worst D in football. Mahomes turning into Favre has hurt them as well.

I hate foreseeing things but, at what point does it become appropriate to talk about trading McCourty / Hightower / Gilmore for something so that some young guys can get a lot of quality snaps. Maybe 2-3 more weeks....
What young guys? We don't have depth on this team because of what we spent in FA combined with the terrible drafting. We are playing our young players from last year's draft and this years.

That being said, I am on board with trading the aging vets to get draft picks for next year. The more young talent we can add next year, the better.

It's not just the record. In 2 of 3 games we have had 7 turnovers, a blocked punt and a ton of penalities. We are actually losing games as opposed to our competition beating us. This is why some folks have compared it to the early 90s.

I said it like a billion times during the offseason on here and discord but we see this scenario play out with teams all the time where they add a ton of big names in Free Agency and then fail to deliver. It takes time for a team to gel, it takes time for new players to grasp the system, and all of that is without playing with a rookie QB.

Fix the OL and we actually have a shot at a wildcard, I think. Until we fix the OL this team isn't going anywhere.

All the temper tantrums and anger about this are so unnecessary. We're in the rebuilding phase - just hopefully close to the end.

The real underperforming unit is the running game. They really should be carrying the offense. Lack of production in the running game is trickling down to the line having to pass protect and jones having to throw.
It seemed to me that after the Saints scored the first TD, they abandoned the run.

The entire team is underperforming, but it’s early and there have been several seasons where the Pats have looked bad early and then jelled. This year there are a lot of new parts, including a rookie QB, which means a lot of players haven’t played together in the ultimate team game on a team in a program built on precision. So before we pass judgment on the entire season, fire JM and BB and decapitate everyone else, we should have a little patience and see if they jell as the season progresses.

After the O, next year D could be a problem. Lot of aging guys

There seems to be an awful lot of forgetting how bad our tight ends were last year and that how much complaining there would be if Bill hadn’t signed the two top options.

They seemed totally unprepared. The coaching staff has to take responsibility for that.

Looks like trading Sony may come back to haunt them if White is done for the year. At least he landed in a good playoff caliber team.

Signing one of the two was a necessity. I think nobody excepted us to sign both

Yes I still believe that as we have only played 3 games
