Pro sports thrives on familiarity. Dynasties create that. Eliminating a bye is just one step towards the idiocy of MLB, where playing the season and being one of the best teams merely gets you into a lottery.
I agree.

I hate how MLB teams are stuck in a one game wildcard if they don't win the division.

Like a team wins 100 and one game means they may not make the first round?

Ludicrous.

Only teams that I think can beat Tampa in the playoffs are Dallas, LAR, Arizona, and maybe Green Bay. You need a good QB with good weapons to expose their defense. Really the Bucs should be 1-2 now if it weren't for Dallas' kicker....
Only?

4 teams is alot lol...

Some of you, as you have for a year, continue to sound like Jets fans word for word as you desperately try and attack Brady despite the hometeam sucking ass.

I actually never liked it during his time in NE. We’ve seen plenty of blowouts during his time in NE yet he’s trotting out late in games. You don’t need to play “60 minutes” as you did your job - the game is over. In addition, you’re risking the D to start taking cheap shots. I can’t remember what year it was, but we saw Gronk break his arm late in a blowout game on the field goal unit.

When you are on the losing end, you get very little benefit as the D takes their foot off of the gas and you’re just stat padding at that point.
It was vs Indy IIRC in 2012.

I don't think Tom is chucking it around like Jeff George at the end of games. Hes just trying to make completions.

Gronk broke his arm blocking on an extra point. I don't think it was garbage time. But I get your point.

Well, Brady is a safer bet in the playoffs than Stafford for sure.

Personally, I want to see more from both teams before I would say who would win. I am not impressed with the Bucs' defense or running game right now. But they could get better.
Both fournette and Jones are over 4yds/carry right now. I am not worried by their running games. I am worried about their secondary. Tampa O didn’t play that bad. The difference in this game is the Rams D is good and can make some stops. The Bucs D couldn’t stop anything. 4 straight TD drives. One was one 75 yds TD pass coming out of the half losing 14-7. Hard to win against good teams like that.

at this point it’s almost mandatory they have to sign Sherman.

The Bucs could run. Their defense gave up 4 straight TDs drives over at least 75 yards. It meant running simply wasn’t an option anymore. Watch the game instead of just looking at the box score.

Arians was so red …. He looks like he’s going to have a heart attack

It was during garbage time. It came back to haunt them in the playoffs as he re-injured it against the Texans. Missed the game in the loss to the Ravens.

“In the Patriots' 59–24 victory in Week 11 over the Indianapolis Colts, Gronkowski had seven receptions for 137 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns.[86] Gronkowski broke his left forearm late in the fourth quarter during an extra point [87]

It depends.

The Rams had their first team defense in there. You could argue they’re running the same risk. But more to the point, if the Rams are willing and aren’t putting in their scrubs, sometimes teams prefer the high level of competition. Brady was throwing more to Johnson and Bernard, two guys he’s developing chemistry with.

I agree that your first team offense scoring a moral victory against scrubs is indeed pointless stat padding.

They had 52 rushing yards vs. the Cowboys, 82 yards last week, and 35 yards today. I don't care how many YPC the RBs have when they aren't getting the yards. Their running game has been non-existent. They probably have the fewest rushing yards in the league.

And after today, they may have the fews YPC in the league too.

Yea then Gronk broke it again vs HOU in the playoffs after asshat Thomas Gill strong-armed him to play.

Through three weeks, once the stats are updated, they are going to be dead last in the league in rushing yards and (they are currently second to last). And they are not the only team this year who got down by 17 points or more and had to air it out.

They are a passing team they will not run the ball 30 times a game. That’s just a ridiculous take.

Patriots lost both Gronk and Woodhead in the 2012 divisional game to the Texans. Don’t tell me having them healthy wouldn’t have made a difference against the Ravens the week after.
