I’m sorry, are we not on to New Orleans yet?

The players are, but I'm still seething about that fake punt against the Jets in the 2010-11 playoffs.

What are you talking about. Game1 Mac was surgical in 12 personnel under center in the first quarter before they went away from it.

Like I said in an earlier post. Mac had multiple weeks to prepare for the Fins. Flores is not a new coach, they had a whe year of film on that defense. The Pats coaching staff knows Flored very well and probably was able to give Mac a lot insight into the defensive alignments.

Jets was completely different. Salah is a new coach, no film on D from previous year, no knowledge between Pats and Jets coaching tree. Mac definitely looked more confused and was playing slower the Jets game. So yes, it might be too much to ask of a rookie going up against an NFL defense in that situation

Seems kinda risky to put Folk in the practice squad given how good he's been. He's better than a lot of kickers out there, certainly better than the Jets kicker.
