Not a hard concept. And if you do fumble? And it’s on your stomach? Pin in down and don’t let someone take it from you.

Sickening way to start the season.

I thought it was better to drop the ball in the redzone but that makes sense

How about refs don't call phantom holds in the red zone and wipe out TD runs?
The refs are irrelevant if we just don't turn the ball over. Oh well, the future is bright with mac.

Brady and Bill need to bury the hatchet tonight and get on the phone to bit.ch about their team fumbling in the red zone as they’re about to ice the game.

the fumble is irrelevant if refs don't call a phantom hold. wiped 4 points off the board. 20-17 game. Tua wasn't gonna score in 3 minutes having to drive 90 yards.

Despite my rant here I hope we don’t bench Damien, but my God.

The problem is on the first 'fumble' they showed 3-4 different angles and i never saw the ball come out At All. the review came back so fast from NY the couldn't have really looked at it. And the second i can't say that was a fumble either, harris was laying on the ground when i saw the ball moving, and i'm not so much of a homer that i would say it wasn't a fumble or a questionable call if it wasn't. I don't trust Roger Goodells people in NY that review these plays.

The fumbles were a killer but the coaches need to do a better job, give some God damn emphasis on ball security at that point of the game, BB managed really bad the timeouts in the end, waste a 2nd timeout on a 2nd and 5 with this defense?

What's the problem with the endzone, is it chernobyl there? McDaniels didn't have the balls to call one play in the EZ in the last drives, what the ****, you wanna drive until the 1 yard line?

d%#*!@t it's been a while I don't feel this bad for a loss

You can only control what you can control. We can't control what calls the refs make or don't make. We can control the mistakes we make.

I know Miami won the battle. But I think NE won the war.

Mac Jones is flat out better than Tua. Some of the throws he made today were great. His ability to escape the pocket and read the defense was great.

I think Jones will be a perennial pro bowl QB.

Amen….can’t recall if it was Ridley that used to fumble and was working with coaches to fix it or someone else….. but Stephenson needs to be on thin ice after this game…..and previous ….he’s got a problem….hopefully they can fix it

Our D needs a lot of work…..and so many penalties and turnovers . Mac looked good ….better than expected for a rook and much better than Tua did last year…..playing from behind out of the gate in AFC East….has to get better from here

Fumbling RB don’t last long with BB ….this is first for Damien but Rham….has to be short leash

We deserved to lose. No doubt. Too many mistakes. That being said, I think we were the better team outside of them. But clearly there is stuff to work out besides the mistakes. The play calling at times was uninspired for one. We needed to find a way to get our TEs more involved. I'd like to see the defense be a bit more aggressive. It felt like the Dolphins weren't afraid to be in constant attack mode, and while we were mostly able to dink and dunk on that. It let them control our offense a bit. I think we could have done with more of that.

I also think we are too in love with our run game. It is good, not great. I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you don't average OVER 5YPC you shouldn't try to run too much. Anything that consistently puts you in 3rd down is bad. Not to mention that it can get swallowed up in the red zone. We need to find better packages in the pass game for that. We have big bodies. We need to find a way to use them down there.

The problem is Sony is gone now. There is no one else...you can't bench Harris or Stevenson.

Very much unlike a Belichick team out there today. Though turnovers are on the backs.

I think the Patriots are really close to something great. I saw alot of good things.

I think week 1 in the NFL brings alot of misleading results.
