Still waiting on news whether Dolphins tackle Austin Jackson made the trip to Foxboro.
Me too. Guess we are waiting till Sunday AM?

Yep. I played TE and DE in high school and had to play with our freshman back-up who was a southpaw. I think I dropped the ball more times in that game than I had all season. I also got my clock cleaned because the kid tossed me a nice hospital ball, which is really why I even remember this in the first place.
KontradropsoN

I remember Collinsworth talking about this, coming to the NFL and playing with Boomer Esiason. He had never played with a lefty QB. Any hands-catcher (what you are supposed to do) instinctively turns the hands a little bit while catching to deal with the spin. When the spin is opposite it really messes you up, until you adjust.
Adjusting comes easy because the ball in either case is spinning one of two ways, for or against, depending on what side it's coming from. The only one with a problem is KontradropsoN.

Not encouraging what Lazar says about WR group (slow) w/o Agholor.
This was a poor piece from Evan overall tbh.

He's right to an extent but they're good fits and 2/3 games aren't predicated on speed. Most of the time we're spreading teams out it'll be with TE's outside or detached.

If we didn't have a potential top 5-8 OL I'd be worried.

Idk I expect better from guys with his access, resources & experience.

Yeah receiver speed has never been a staple on the patriots, why would it be different now.

Tell that to the ravens who lost 2 starters for the year in practice.
I heard on talk radio that Harbawl was bragging about his all-time undefeated record in pre-season. Maybe that attitude was in play with this year's injuries.

That is just sad. Imagine wanting another team to do badly more than you want your own to succeed. LOL
For many years, a Yankee loss was far more satisfying than a Red Sox win.
You get that way when you become embedded with the enemy's entitled fandom

Me yesterday: The Patriots will put Perry on IR to open up a spot since they want more than two guys from the PS

Patriots today: Put Perry on IR, but then leave his roster spot open

True. However, I believe Meyers & Bourne are crafty enough route runners to win if need be. Also, the TE’s will augment the offense unlike last season. Between the OL, RBs (takes pressure of Mac) & TEs, we should be fine.
