Not much to discuss lately. So, before the season starts, what do you think some of the notable/surprise players will end up with?

Mac - 3200yds 20tds 10int ..... fairly conservative. I think he learns not to make mistakes and relies on our rushing, defense and punt teams. Dink and dunk. Td/int ratio is the important stat to me.

Harris - 1200yds 12tds ... breaks out

Meyers - 900yds 7tds

Uche - 10 sacks

Barmore - 5 sacks

JC - leads the team with 5 int ... there isn't going to be one db that consistently dominates.... at least not until Gilmore comes back. Our front seven will wreak havoc and there will be plenty of int, they will just be spread around. 3 or 4 tipped balls going to LBs.

This is good but I don't think Harris will get to 1200 with Rham, JJ and White also getting carries. My guess is more like 800.

I really like Rham, but I'm just guessing he won't see the field as much as we'd like... maybe on the goal line (low yards, high tds). White won't get many carries and JJ will be 4th string. Just my reasoning.

While I think Harris has the potential to run for 1,200 and 12 TD line, they will have a committee approach. Harris won’t like it, but the Pats depth will wear D’s out. Harris goes for 900 and 6 TD’s.

Rham vultures short yardage and goal line carries and ends to with 400 yards and 5 TD’s.

Uche will be like TBC and will be a passing down rusher. I think he has 10 sack potential as well. He will get favorable matchups with offenses focusing on Judon, and HT first. He looks like he’s going to take that 2nd year leap.

I see Jones tossing at least 25 TD’s and just over 4,000 yards. Sounds outrageous, but the NFL is a lot easier to throw on than years past. If you watched the 2019 49ers, this is how I see this years offense. Mac will be similar to Jimmy G in 2019 (similar stat line) as they will run a lot and windows get open with the effectiveness of the ground game. Pats have better backs and O-line than the 2019 49ers.

Jonu Smith leads TE’s with 600 yards and 6 TD line. I don’t trust Henry.

Unless Agohlor takes care of his drops, Myers leads the team and I see him barely cracking 1,000 yards and 5 TD’s.

Judon gets 8 sacks and is an all around nuisance. His contract will be looked at as a bargain.

JC Jackson gets 6 INT’s and does better taking on #1 WR’s with Gilmore out. Jackson gets paid big next year.

Re: Harris @ 1200 yards - that is sort of 3-down-back territory. You wouldn't need to be a 3 down guy, but it's what you expect to be the case at 1200. In the absence of other backs, who in the rotation looks like a 3 down back? Hint: Not Harris, as much as we like him. I think it's Stevenson. Now, Bill's world more often than not is about a committee -- so I'm not necessarily calling the Rhamondre Hegemony, but I do think we'll see more and more of him. I'm going by gut here, a bad policy when he gets so much work against 2s and 3s... but he has the tools. Pencil in 10 TDs and call me stupid later.

Factoring in the rookie QB, 2 1,000 yard backs in NE would not be crazy.

I can see Mac at 18 TD, 13 INT (Being pessimistic based on the vanilla D of pre-season) and 2800 yards. Screw it, I'll be happily surprised if he turns out to be what we all want him to be right out of the gate. I know they spent to make him productive, and I know he gets rid of the ball quick, but again, we haven't seen him against real coverages.

For that reason, I think Nelson Ahlgolong gets about the stats that Rainmaker is predicting above. I don't know who if anybody to name the TE king, but I think they will all get lots of work by design.

Then Dre just over 1,000, 10 TDs, which freaks some people out, and Harris just under, and 7 TDs, sorry Harris fans... having actually been overtaken despite being named Damien and therefore having Youtube highlights that people will dub with O Fortuna.

I know we're all looking for Tom Brady's second coming, well fine. In 2001, 18 TDs and 12 INTs (I had to look that up to realize that I basically predicted TB 2.0 for Mac)

BTW I saw a betting line with Mac's over/under yards at 3800. Thought that was pretty crazy. That would put him at 5th all time for rookies.

Mac throws a very nice long ball, probably better than Brady. Only two questions. Will the offensive line give him time to throw and will the wide receivers catch the ball and not drop it. If the answers are positive, greater than 3800 yards is likely.

I can see Mac at 3500 yards, 25 TDs and 12 INTs.
Harris 185 carries 800 yards 7tds
Stevenson 125 carries 500 yards 8tds
Taylor 100 carries 400 yards 5tds
Bolden 50 carries 150 yards 1 td
White 75 carries 200 yards 2tds

Meyers 80 catches 825 yards 3tds
Smith 60 catches 625 yards 6tds
Henry 55 catches 600 yards 7tds
Agholor 55 catches 725 yards 7tds
Bourne 35 catches 375 yards 2tds
Harry 12 catches 130 yards 0tds
Wilkerson 10 catches 150 yards 0tds
Asiasi 10 catches 125 yards 0tds

Of course the last 3 guys may sneak in a td catch here and there and maybe Jones throws more than 25 TDs and my yardage for the receivers equals 3,555 yards, so probably less yards for each receiver.

Oh man, I forgot the RBs in my pass catching totals, White is probably gonna have 50 catches. And Taylor probably 25. Even Harris and Stevenson will probably have 20+ each. The offense is gonna be crazy.

I got Jones for 4,000 passing yards. 100 rushing yards. 22 td’s and 15 interceptions.

I got Harris with 800 yards rushing and 8 td’s. white with 300 yards rushing and 5 td’s. Stevenson with 300 yards rushing and 6 td’s. And Taylor with 200 yards rushing 1 td!

I got Henry with 800 yards receiving. Smith with 500 yards. White and Meyers with 600 yards receiving. Taylor, Bourne, Wilkerson and agular with 400 yards.

finally, I have judon with 6 sacks to lead the team,

This is good but I don't think Harris will get to 1200 with Rham, JJ and White also getting carries. My guess is more like 800.

We could be looking at a 1978 type performance ... Big team stats, but no rusher at 1000 yards

My leaders are:
- Meyers in receiving yards for WR
- Smith in receiving yards for TE
- Henry in receiving Touchdowns
- Harris in rushing yards and Touchdowns
- Barmore in Sacks for our DT group
- Judon/Uche in sacks for the LB/DE group
- overall tackling i think Phillips, Dugger, Hightower and Bentley have legit shots to be the leading tackler
- JC Jackson INT Leader
- Judon or HT lead in Tackle for Loss and Fumbles
- Gunner in return yards
- Defense rank: 6
- Offense rank: 12-16

Jones - 310/480, 3900 yds, 32 TDS, 14 INTs

Harris - 250 carries for 1150 yds, 8 TDs
Stevenson - 100 carries for 425 yds, 6 TDs
White - 50 carries for 200 yds, 1 TD
Taylor - 40 carries for 220 yds, 2 TDs

Meyers - 75 for 900, 5 TDs
Agholor - 40 for 675, 4 Tds
Bourne - 40 for 500, 5 TDs
Harry - 30 for 400, 3 TDs
Smith - 40 for 550, 6 TDs
Henry - 40 for 500, 7 TDs
White - 45 for 375, 2 TDs

We could be looking at a 1978 type performance ... Big team stats, but no rusher at 1000 yards
I think my reasoning for Harris getting 1200 can be summed up like this...

Last year, he was the first rb in patriots history to lead the team in rushing and average over 5 yds/carry. (Dion had just under 5 in 2017)

The leading rusher in '18 and '19 was Sony (900 yards each year) and now he's gone.

Cam had 600 last year, and now he's gone.

Ridley had 1260 in '12, Blount had 1160 in '16, and I could see Harris getting a similar workload.

As good as Rham and JJ look, and White being a 3rd down back, we have no PROVEN rushers behind Harris. If one or both of those young guys step up, I could be dead wrong.

One extra game.

Going against the grain here:

Meyers has fewer yards than last year - 650. No negative reflection on him, it's just that Jones spreads it around beautifully.

Agholor has five TDs.

Harris 800 yards rushing.

If healthy Harris will be over 1000 yards and more than 10 TDs.
Mac is gonna be about 30 TDs and 10 int.
None of our WRs will pass 1000 yards but 3 of them I believe will be over 700 yards.
Wino and Uche will combine 20 sacks.
Gilmore will be traded during the season :(

Gunner 122 catches for 1600 yards, 110 first downs, 12 TDs

Being conservative

Harris 850 Rush yards
Meyers 800 rec yds
Mac 26-28 tds/3100 yards
Jonnu 600 rec yards/6 tds
JC 5 picks (1 pick six)
