Content Post Words on things I watched, read & heard II

This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.
Wondering if Josh McDaniels is Darlington’s source. He is well connected.

"Mac Jones is handling things ‘very well, very smart, very hard worker, steady progress'”

That's what he says his source told him. That level of intel could be had from any relatively attentive waterboy or groundscrew member.

Nugget: Over the last decade, NE has had 15 joint practice opponents. They’ve signed at least one player from each of those 15 teams; 27 transactions…23 players (acquired/scooped as FA) in total. (2011 NJP…2012: Lockout…2018 NJP…2020 NJP). Please excuse mistakes.

Yeah…except he had a lot of inside info on Brady-Belichick last year.

DB Jalen Mills is neither a pure man/zone CB. He is a purely matchup based player (whether that be @ nickel, safety etc..) He is however, a great asset as a RZ CB on the boundary with his great physicality.

Wouldn’t mind OL Brett Toth in for a go. PHI would seem to have a bit of a logjam @ tackle. Wonder if Toth is someone BB would be interested in, since it’s a need for us.

given the yearly Wynn break down, I think bb needs another tackle.

This could be a blessing for him bc he could be eased into the role. Callous up his body more, get used to the pounding. Gain a little more size. It would be quite the story if he really turned into a good full-time player.
He is going to be a really dangerous player if he gets there. Belichick has always had it right in turning punt returners into offensive weapons. They are the best open field runners in the game, and they tend to be tough and reliable. Their slot position has been dominated by punt returners since he took over.Love Gunner, I want to see him get a full time role here.

Tier 1: BB…..
Tier 2: Payton, Reid, Shannahan, Harbaugh.
Tier 2.5: Carroll (fix the OL & run the damn ball), Flores & McDermott.
Tier 3-100: I could care less…

It should look more like a pyramid, no one is on tier 1 with Belichick.

open heart surgery? and he CAME BACK to play? that's medical malpractice in my book

Imagine this board if Cam said the same thing Dalton said.

Dog Reaction GIF

Dude was crazier than a rat in a tin s**thouse, but one of the best WR ever.
I'll never forget the Moss/TO battles & debates. Easily top 5 for me. I can't think of 3-5 guys I'd rather have from any era.

Moss, TO, Calvin, Fitz, Juilo Jones are just freaky dudes.
