Good Lord. I wonder if there's a scramble yards metric that can be used to rate how much a defense forces a QB to run for his life.

I remember that. It was something like 400 yards which is impressive but for TB to add in another elite pass rusher? I'm curious to see how that turns out.
If he's what they seem to be indicating so far, and you've got Vea dominating the middle, teams are going to need to stop 3 legit pass rushers on 3rd and long, while doubling the man on the nose. K.C. may want to sign another big money OL.
I love that he put an even bigger target on himself with his 20-0 talk.Mahomes better drink some muscle milk before playing TB because he's going to be running all night.

497. Which helps the narrative that he was out there fighting all alone.I think someone had that number for Mahomes in the SB, but I don't remember where it was from.
Or just hand the ball off.497. Which helps the narrative that he was out there fighting all alone.
When in reality he could have stayed in the pocket like Brady in 2007 or 2015 to get the ball out quicker and help his line out.
Or audible to a running play. Bucs were playing light in the box all game497. Which helps the narrative that he was out there fighting all alone.

That's exactly what Brady did vs the saints as they played a very similar defense. He also threw to the RBs.Or audible to a running play. Bucs were playing light in the box all game
Still think that was the beginning of the end for Brady here. Gronk too. There’s a reason why there were rumblings about his retirement after the game.Everything changed from that one decision. It was so monumental and cost Brady his best SB performance of all time and a chance for us to legit three-peat. And somehow Bill has gotten away with never having to answer for that benching.
Grady Little did not win 5 championships with the Red Sox prior to leaving Pedro out.Still think that was the beginning of the end for Brady here. Gronk too. There’s a reason why there were rumblings about his retirement after the game.
No such thing as a lock in sports and it was not a lock they would have beaten the Eagles with Butler out there but as it was it was certainly a long way off from the best possible team out there…and deliberately so. The results speak for themselves. We also witnessed Brady with I believe the greatest championship performance in NFL history and maybe right up there in sports history and it will never get the recognition it should thanks to that decision.
Grady Little was fired for less.
Little’s judgement of the situation turned out to be wrong. Bill made his decision without a doubt knowing already ahead of time that it was a bad one for a team looking to win a championship.Grady Little did not win 5 championships with the Red Sox prior to leaving Pedro out.

My point was for anyone not named Belichick it was fireable. You don’t throw away a championship no matter what point you’re trying to make.
I am not sure why people think that puts mahomes in a good light. That sounds like really bad game management. He will have to learn to get rid of the ball, call some hit routes, throw to running backs, hand the ball off, this notion of a 10 yard drop back every play and wait for fast receivers to get open, does not always work, you have to adapt to the game you are in, and he could not. You hit it on the head. I am never seen so many people praise a guy with a crap performance like he had in that game.497. Which helps the narrative that he was out there fighting all alone.
