Preaching to the choirWith any luck, the Celtics will knock it the hell off with the faux basketball, and get back to understanding that centers don't need to be 3 point shooters, and point guards shouldn't just be short 2 guards.
The Celtics suck. They aren't going anywhere anytime soon. They need major changes, but ownership doesn't have the balls.Preaching to the choir
Amen
Sadly, 3 pt arc resident Washed Up Al is back in the fold....consuming way too much cap for his inevitable 9 pt/4 rebound production
At least Opey Stevens is making an attempt at bringing some height onto the roster.
Ainge's undersized/tweener power forward draft failures need to go.

moses working on his 3
You just spoiled my day.
So.....the C's are going to turn Moses into their next finesse center/ arc specialist.........like they did with Daniel Theis
LMFAO
Sounds that haunt me....
"Marcus for three"
"Theis for three"
it forces this typical 5’s out of their game and opens up the middle for 2’s 3’s and 4’s
the prototypical 5 is a dinosaur
I would actually take Brook Lopez over Capela....just as with wing, 3 and D is a thing with the 5......if timelord could stay healthy for a whole season, his elevate quickness is just as effective as a 5 shooting the 3, but I don't see the ankles holding up long term.....sooner or later he lands on someoneI'm not thrilled that Moses is practicing a ton of 3's. I liked him as a Clint Capela type. Fat guys like Harden were still able to score 30 a game despite playing with put-back centers like Capela.

I hear you. It's a philosophical question. I think Brook works there because Giannis is such a beast inside and Brook could already shoot 3's before going there. On the C's Al is already going to be shooting a ton of 3's at PF, do we really want 2 big men camped out on the 3 point line? Moses' game is kind of like Rodman's, he gets put backs and dunks and doesn't really clog the lane. The C's problem was inside rebounding, I don't see this going great if they have 4 guys all jacking up 3's on the floor together at the same time as Tatum and Brown also love to chuck.
I don't see the celts doing a whole lot of minutes with 2 bigs on the floor.........Al is a 5........Timelord is a 5. Brown is a 5. Considering Timelord can't stay healthy, need depth.
the other thing they have and even theis had that TT does not is that they can block shots...Thompson can rebound and bang bodies, but in most instances, the banging came at the expense of defensive ineptitude
I don't think they're done yet.
Then go root for whoever
I thought Al liked to play 4 but played 5 reluctantly. Either case he's old so won't be playing a lot. Looking at the finals teams, Ayton (I know way better) has zero outside game, stays inside and it doesn't seem to mess up Booker or Paul. Who knows, just not feeling it to make Moses into Sam Perkins
