Some are getting mad at people like myself having a laugh at Winston. The drills and exercises are perfectly fine, legit as it gets.

Winston is just so extra lol. The facial expressions bordering between 100% serious and satire. Also look at his boy helping him out. His name is escaping me. So awkward in his movements. He loses a pad. Pushing over the dummy lol. Rooting for Winston. He's a headcase but reminds me of myself and a lot of friends I know. Just a mess at everything we do.

I think 8 teams would be the ideal number. Which got me thinking, assuming a 53 man roster you are going to need like 4 CB’s for example so just knowing the top 10 best isn’t going to be enough research, you have to have a list of 8 teams x 4 CBs is 32. On top of which maybe people take a few of your guys so really you would need a top 40 list of all time And that’s just one position. It might be interesting seeing as this is the dead time of the year anyway to have a thread for each. I did a google search of TEs just to see what was out there and Ranker had a crappy list IMO with Ben Watson of all people in the top 15. The pats had a surprisingly large number in the top 50, Gronk, Coates, Russ, Watson, Bennett (if he counts as a pat?). It would also be an interesting debate on which criteria you are looking for. For example if I had to win one game Gronk is a no brainer as in his prime he is probably a top 10 all time game changer but if you are looking at total career I think Tony G has the slightest of edges for GOAT. Mostly I was bored and thinking about my ideal team while I was out for my walk so had to do a little research and was curious what you think?

I would do 8 teams. Thought more would would be better so we don't have any "super" teams but I'm good with 8.

And that's one of the reasons I'm intrigued by this. Seeing how posters go about putting their team together. Which positions they go after first. Just think it would be fun but we need a few more posters. Don't want to drag anyone into it. We'll see how it goes.

Yep…same here. I used to win at Fantasy Football by picking him much higher than anyone else. Supply and demand…and in reality, he’s much better than just fantasy numbers.

Whats weird is I think hes still underrated
by many, probably due to the plethora of injuries.
But Gronk was Hack-a-Shaqued most of his career. Defenders couldve been penalized on almost every play but swallowed their whistles. No other te in history has had to deal with that like Gronk did. Combine that with his balls-to-the-wall style of play- almost Edelman-like and no wonder he had so many injuries.
The Luke K. bear hug in the EZ was just one egregious example.
How many opposing dl have told us Gronk is a better blocker than most nfl ol's? And best td celebration of all-time.

When he was running those seem routes (stopped in 2016 when he got crushed by Earl Thomas), he was also one of the best deep threats in the league.

I don’t think there’s even a reasonable argument that anyone in the last 20 years was as valuable - as a skill position player - than prime Gronkowski. Moss is probably the only other guy in the discussion, and maybe the one-year dominance of Peterson.

People don’t seem to grasp just how great he was considering his presence alone, as a dual threat, opened up the Patriots playbook like no other single player could.

Agreed. Gronk is still a bit underrated. I've seen him make shoestring rec's and grab a ball 4 feet over his head. Blocking DE's. Shake off hits from a 225 S and keep going. Again top 25-40 all-time player for me. Maybe top 20.

Even more incredible is that Hutson‘s era was a 10-12 game schedule. Rice played in 303 games; Hutson played in 116 games. And significantly less passing attempts back then.

The league started recording INTs, assigned to specific defenders, in 1940. From 1940-45, Hutson had 30 interceptions.

Is there an argument to take Hutson over Rice?

He's always forgotten about but one of the few old timers that stands the test against the modern players. He has a GOAT arguement for sure.
