Its Tshirts and shorts time. NOTHING that happens now has any relevance to reality. This is only important to the coaches and the teaching they are doing now. OTA's is the activity necessary so that the team is prepared to practice efficiently when TC starts. It what helps eliminate the standing around and creates more actual reps in team work and individual drills. The more reps a play gets in any activity means the better opportunity for the player and the team to improve. I never take seriously any OTA Hype

REALLY glad to hear the team will have joint practices with another team this TC (Giants). I always felt these joint practices were the best and most useful time of TC. Wouldn't mind if they added another team as well.

Bill does some mind-boggling things when it comes to veterans. Why the hell is Hoyer getting more reps than Jones, or any reps at all, other than to make sure that the other QBs arms don't get overtaxed? We know what he is and what he is isn't good enough.

It’s one day in June. Won’t hurt Jones to watch how a guy like Hoyer who has been in the league for over 10 years operates. Also, Bill is constructing a roster. He may end up going with 3 QBs and having to cut Hoyer, Stidham, or even Cam if he feels Jones had progressed enough. He’ll want to see where each one is at.

QB is not the only position being evaluated. OTAs are teaching camps primarily. How do you know where the skill players are at in their studies with a neophyte QB who might not see what the receiver or TE sees correctly?
