Rohrwasser cut

This was a terrible pick, so many dimensions of terrible.

Man, not for the first time I think if I had a son I would start teaching him how to kick from birth. These guys are never that physically imposing yet it’s hard to find 32 of them in the world for this incredibly high-paying job

For @Sliplady

I hope this doesn't ruin your day:

From Reiss. His words not mine. "But the focus on Rohrwasser quickly turned from his kicking to his tattoos, as he was questioned by reporters about a mark on his arm associated with "The Three Percenters" -- a right-wing militia group."

"Rohrwasser wore long sleeves throughout training camp, and the club didn't make him available to speak with reporters."

Put up or shut crazy lady.

Liar and a drama queen. Video said he was not available to the media. It happens all the time while coaches work with players, especially rookies. You are the idiot who claims it was the tatts. Liar and drama queen. You can shut up and block me, but I will call out your lies.

You really are nuts. The lady that only posts when this guy is being talked about. It's like you get an alert or something.

Thanks for playing crazy lady.

I thought we already cut him before last season.

Where were you on January 6th?

3% value.
He was ruined by that national attention he got. Then the situation got worse when he kept missing at TC. Then season started and he did not get better.

You woulda thought Krafty and BB woulda learned their lesson after AH. Need to screen these kids coming out of college. After 1/6 this kid woulda been branded a domestic terrorist. ALL future draft picks would be forfeited.

What has AH got to do with this thread?

What has AH got to do with this thread?
Poor scouting by the Pats. The national consensus is that BB and Krafty either ignored the warning signs or were completely unaware of his "extra curricular" activities.
Fast forward to this kicker who was covered with white supremacist tats. Pats did not notice or care. Once again piss poor scouting.

Questionable past that seems like it should’ve been caught or at least acknowledged and taken the player off the draft board.

Pretty sure AH’s checkered past factored in to why they waited until the 4th to draft him, when he was otherwise profiled as a day 1-2 talent. His attitude concerns were well documented but he didn’t murder anyone while he was in Bristol or Gainesville at least not that anyone was aware of at the time. There was no way of knowing that would be the outcome.

Sadly yes, and the best rookie kicker (Rodrigo Blankenship) wasn’t even drafted.

And Blankenship was inconsistent and not particular good himself.

2020 was a weak kicker class.

Glad we have Folk, who while unspectacular and a bit limited from 50+, was darn consistent and seemed to improve (and his leg actually seemed to get stronger) over the course of last season. If he can extend his range into the 53-55 yard range with consistency, he’ll be a complete kicker. Even if not, he’s still a solid option assuming he maintains his level of play from last season.

They probably should have done some digging into the fact he matched the description of a man who shot a couple people at a Gainesville bar. Or him punching a bouncer in the ear. Or the multiple failed drug tests. Or the fact Urban Meyer told him don’t come back for his senior year.

Those things hardly indicate double murder is in his future.

Blackballing someone because they might have looked like someone who shot someone? I’m not sure what information existed but assuming guilt because of appearance in the absence of other, objective evidence is quite a slippery slope.

Punching someone (so long as it doesn’t repeatedly happen) and busting drug tests for cannabis are trivial. I’m willing to bet a lot of players in the NFL (and life) have punched someone and smoked weed in their past.
