Weird that Fuller, Galloday, Brown, Samuel, Juju are all still out there.

Maybe a future part of draft prospect interviews should be showing them a picture of Easterby and if they react positively to him just eliminate them from the board right there.

What makes you think other teams don't have a plan. There are teams that actually like to sit by and watch others spend like crazy, patiently waiting for the right opportunity to get a player at "value" instead of rushing head first into a bidding war.

There's actually been some good deals done by other teams, just not at the volume of the Pats.

If you see what Caserio is doing at HOU, he's following the format Pats did for years, searching for low cost value signings. They're the 2nd most active team I believe. (Edit: it's actually JAX)

pats have signed multiple players that others were after.....they've gotten the guys they wanted, not letting the market dictate their moves

Why, Nick? Why?

They had the 3rd highest amount of space...

All waiting on Golladay - then goes quickly for the rest.

If the market is indeed slow could be a bunch of short term contracts like the 2 w NE

Hope this doesn't mean we paid too much by not waiting.
Day 1 signings are never going to be the best value. I'm still glad Pats were able to secure several pass catchers rather than waiting and hoping someone's price drops a little.

What did that offensive line do to piss off Gruden?

slow market because lots of teams don't have the cap space and $ they would otherwise get...

Odd but not a shock considering the cap situation. Once Golladay goes I think that starts making the deals roll for the others. I wouldn't be surprised if NE tries to make a play on that group if the price tags are reasonable. Obviously they've already spent on Agholor but if they can get a guy like Juju at a low price it makes a lot of sense. I'd love Samuel, but he feels like the second-most coveted WR on the market right now so I don't see that happening.

Considering the draft is deep at WR, perhaps teams who are already very short on money are just planning to draft for that need.

It's only Day 2. It feels like we've been at it for two weeks with the gargantuan number of moves in the last 24. Lmao

I know it doesn't seem like it, but it's only Day 2. FA begins tomorrow. Lol
