Player Signing Pats sign Jalen Mills

For the value, this is an excellent deal. Mills can line up at SS either deep or in the box, or he can play corner as the nickel. Assuming they still add at least 1-2 more DTs through FA or the draft and Hightower doesn’t fall off a cliff, the defense should be fixed.

Don't judge him by his work as a starting outside cornerback earlier in his career. He's going to move around.

$6M a year MAXIMUM = a lot less in reality. That definitely is not CB1 money. No confusion there.

That March Super Bowl championship is looking good so far!

Seems versatile at a good price. Not very familiar with his game though.

Not a huge fan of the player but I do like his versatility. $9 mill guaranteed isn't nothing but he didn't break the bank.

He isn't a number 1 corner
4.48 ON HIS PRO DAY.
Cousins, He was listed out as Free Safety. This might be DM's replacement. He's listed on his stats as a Strong Saftey. 26 years old LSU kid.
He is manuverable.

Is it possible that this move might be making the chances of them shipping Gilmore out for an abundance of picks more likely? - or is he not likely to be opposite JC and just used as a flexible DB?

What position do we think he'll spend the most time at here? I think there's probably more room in the safety rotation unless JC Jackson isn't coming back.
