Are you one of those "sacks is the only thing that matters" guys? Because the media award voters are those guys, and that's why DPOY generally goes to the guy with the most sacks.
So Aaron Donald isn't very good then?

Who's fault was that? Cards used him differently where he could rush passer where he was handcuffed by Bill yet still was a damn good player and the best pass rusher Bill drafted.
Isn’t this how we got Thuney ? Good trade of unreliable, flashy player for dependable, « boring » player.

He can do much more than just collect sacks. How are you not understanding the importance of run defense?

It's not the only way they could've got him given Bill moves around the draft more than anyone.

A sack is a guaranteed negative play.

Yes, but it's also a negative play that happens about 10% of the time on the BEST pass rushing teams. The argument isn't that pressures are better than sacks (or even as good), but that a guy who gets 30 pressures and only 5 sacks is better than a guy who only gets 10 pressures but all of them are sacks. (numbers just for hypotheticals).

He couldn't set the edge and teams were just running around him

Sounds like the Greg Spires story. Left New England, got a million sacks, made Pro Bowls. But he just couldn't play in Belichick's defense.

Very weird for people to be against run defense when the run defense was responsible for atleast 2-3 losses last season

Vegas, Baby.
Is it bad that I’m looking forward to Vegas opening up and seeing their players involved in controversy after controversy after controversy?

Early twenty something, highly testosterone fueled, young men who are suddenly very wealthy and forced to live in Las Vegas. What could possibly go wrong?! :D

But it IS the way. So...

Despite success in ARi, I never once thought « Chandler was the one who got away ». They’ve been winning since his departure (minus 2020).

Nothing that hasn't already gone wrong in Miami, NYC, LA, probably even small towns.

Seriously... when you're young, rich, and famous, you don't need to go to Vegas to find vice.

Vegas is truly no worse a town than any other city. If you have money and want trouble...you’ll find it.

Notice all the talent around Judon in Baltimore. You guys are going to get a massive wake up call when he becomes "Casper the Friendly Ghost" in NE.

Spotrac has him at $15.6M
