Like it a lot. Probably means Thuney is all but gone and Onwenu shifts inside, but could also impact Cannon too. A one year deal at a max $11m means his cap hit is likely to be $7-8m, I reckon. That's great value for a very good tackle when healthy. Better move than paying out $60-75m to Thuney.

I doubt we gave up more than a 6th/7th but we shall see.

The Patriots give up a 6th, the last year of Cannon's deal, and take on about $2 million additional cap space.

The Patriots receive a 3rd in 2022 (compensatory), one year of a better RT.
