Mets have been a good franchise in recent years.
Devils have been a model of excellence.
Nets have been great in the last few years, which included them ending the Celtics season couple of times.
Giants and Jets have been good in winning.
Rangers and Knicks had good moments.

Your right, you are. 1-8 is a losing record IE loser town. If you combine ALL your NY professional football teams you get 11-14. Losing record = Losing town.
