Just curious ... why would you want a bridge player ? A bridge player is someone who will not ever take us to the promise land. I think its better for the team to build with a younger player who may grow into a potential piece for a championship instead of a bridge player who by definition is not going to get us there.

Every one of the truly available QBs suck. There's a reason they're available. All the good ones already have jobs.

The only reason I suggested Brissett was because of his familiarity with the Patriots system. We already heard the coaches saying that maybe not all QBs are cut out for the Pats system. Why waste time and resources on guys that may not work out. Fitz is a guy that's played for so many different teams, he's probably seen it all and maybe could work out.

Trubisky, Mariota, Winston, etc. won't cut it here imo. I know we let Brissett go but he now has more experience. Yes he sucks. Why not just keep Cam? Well because of this.

Agree but none of the other guys is going to cut it. Maybe drafting Mac Jones, who knows. That's why we just need a bridge guy that can "fit" into the Pats system while the qbof is found.

Is Vrabel's system as complicated as NE's. Idk. Seems like they mainly rely on the run game and set him up for PA off it. Having Henry is what's made Tannehill good imo.

Well that's true....prob not as complicated. Were going to dumb it down...per Harry. We can run with Harris IMO tho.

Do you think BB goes after Mac Jones? I've seen estimates he falls into late first round. I don't know jack sh*t about him but imo the qbof is coming from the draft (this year or next) unless they can somehow pry a Prescott/ Watson/Wilson (maybe Cousins?) away from their teams.

Everybody else sucks (including Jimmy). Mahomes and Rodgers are untouchable.

I don't know jack squat...they are drafting Mac Jones at 15...book it. I hate the idea of a bridge QB. Gee...lets get a QB that we know won't take us to the promise land....that's for losers. It's better to try to build with young cheap QB's that are still on rookie contracts than spend a boatload on a vet that's a freakin' bridge to nowhere. IMO of course.
