Stidham already back at it

Good. Glad to see it.

I hope the whole team is doing the same.

For the Stidham haters: has he had a week of practice with the first team before going into a game? And everytime he got in this year, the Pats were behind and the DL was just teeing off on him. Will he ever be a starting QB in the NFL? Probably not, but I don't know, and neither does anyone posting here. No matter who BB drafts for QB this year, if he does, I doubt that player sees the field THIS season. BB isn't a big fan of rookies and rookie mistakes, particularly at QB.

Again, if the Patriots thought they had anything in Stidham, why didn't he play in the last two meaningless games? No one has been able to give me a plausible answer to this simple question.
No-one has ever been able to explain to me the simple question of why an apple falls to the ground, therefore gravity must not exist.

Bill knows and that's all that matters. His actions (and in Stiddy's case, lack of action) speaks loud and clear. Remained on the bench behind the guy who couldn't throw a football when the Pats were eliminated from playoff contention. That's more than enough that needs to be said about his future or potential as a Patriot.

Had to laugh at the comment on twitter about Stidham that Manning also a tough first year. Imagine actually comparing Pick Six Stiddy to Peyton Manning.:thumbsup:

It makes no difference. You are asking the wrong questions. Is Stid under contract for 2021? Yes. Will he most likely make the team as a backup? Yes. Is he young and still fighting for a NFL career even though he is not likely to be NE's starter? Yes? Is there anything wrong with him seeking to become a better QB at 24 years old? Nope. At this point, who cares if he didn't start the last two games. He is a Patriot. I don't think he is our future, but I support him because I am a Patriot fan.

I'm sorry... what did you say? ;)

Didn't you know that the Law or Working on Mechanics forbids hats and watches? It would even be awful for him to be wearing a smartwatch that monitors his vitals during a real workout. That has been a leading cause of death in peewee leagues. There was also a guy who had to have his feel amputated because he was wearing a hat while doing QB footwork drills.

Is that Mark Sanchez in the background? My God you gotta crop him out like the fat friend in your club photos

You are not allowed to post things like this. You have to side with the fans that want him dead or kicked off the team.
I don't know who you are but your last like 3 posts in this thread have put you on my list of faves behind Kontra and fnord

Same start to 2020...I swear if I have to live through 2020 again I’m going to flip $h!t all over the place.

Just a football mom and real Pats fan who has been reading this forum for 15+ years. No way Patten makes this team.

We're bringing Jimmy G back. Drafting 2 WRs. Signing another. We're gonna be rocking in 2021

Are these offseason hard work reports on young unproven guys the kiss of death? Lol I remember harry was supposedly working his tail off last offseason.

LOL, let the discussion about his amazing return to glory begin:

Hey Jarrett, see if Tom Brady will lend you Byron Leftwich...

I gave up all hope that he would become a starting caliber QB. Glad to see he's working to improve but I hope we don't see him on the field next year.

Can’t imagine doing anything physical involving high effort while wearing a watch and hat. To each their own though.
I think he’s trying to sell us watches and shoes.

It takes a lot of practice to be exceptionally awful, apparently
Fair point, but if Cam wasn’t sitting there for $1m in all likelihood Stidham would have started.

I guess I’m just bitter they never gave Tom the multi year deal and he retires a Patriot. He deserved it.
I think it would be a lot more sad to watch the GOAT spend his final years on 11 win Pats teams that get knocked out in round one every year while media idiots talk about his "decline" while ignoring the fact that he has nothing at skill positions on offense. The fact that he was able to throw for 4000 yards, 24 TD, and drag that team to the playoffs last year is as much of a testament to his greatness as anything. Be happy for him. He's earned it.
