In 2016 they had the #1 D in the NFL and held the #1 offense to 21 points.
I hate his defense but it works. Stylistically is like watching bananas turn brown.
BB needs some brain-matter help. Aside from Josh and Crazy Ivan, lotta N00bs on the coaching staff
everyone remember what Swiss Cheese Patty’s defenses were like? They were so soft.. zero pressure on the QB. Made bum QBs put up all pro stat lines. Luckily we had Brady at his peak who was able to put up 40 point games in playoffs to keep us winning.
flores was a way better coordinator and is well liked by players
What personnel decisions did Patricia make that impressed the Patriots brass enough to being him in?
Don't forget Danny Shelton...He never should've been allowed to leave.Sounds like he’s there more to evaluate talent.
If he brings Stafford or Golladay to New England or old buddy Trey Flowers I’m all
For it. Matter of Fact eff it let’s get Harmon and Jamie Collins back Too.
Hopefully Dan Campbell starts jettisoning players we can pick.
Horrible.....The Patriots won DESPITE his defensive game plans....so soon have you forgotten those Patriots defenses that had cornerbacks play 10 yards off the wide receivers, how the Patriots typically had one of the lower interception rates under him. Oh, remember his game plan vs. Aaron Rodgers when they didn't rush him, they simply made a wall so he didn't scramble and he obliged by throwing for well over 320+ yards and got the W!This is comforting actually
Not a good example, Bucs destroyed the Lions in that game.Detroit Lions' Evan Rothstein 'one of those guys that kind of crunches all the numbers'
Though he has never served as an NFL position coach, Evan Rothstein has plenty of experience with the details of the Detroit Lions' defense.www.freep.com
"On Saturday, with interim Lions head coach Darrell Bevell, defensive coordinator Cory Undlin and three other assistants in quarantine because of COVID-19 protocols, Rothstein will take an amazing step to the forefront as the team's defensive playcaller against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady."
"He’s probably our most knowledgeable — not probably, is our most knowledgeable in terms of our defense, what we’re doing really all the way across the board," Bevell said.
"He helps identify opposing team tendencies, signals and trends, and helps incorporate that knowledge into the game plan. He holds meetings every week to disseminate that information to players. And on game days, he wears a headset in the coaches booth, where he helps with game management and operational duties."
He's still got those photos. What personnel decisions did Patricia make that impressed the Patriots brass enough to being him in?
