Right, you can't rest your players in this situation because if you lose and LAR somehow wins you end up playing in Seattle.

Gotta play this one to win with the seeding situation. I don’t blame Arians at all; also good to keep that momentum going for the offense. Evans was playing so well he had clearly recovered from his previous ankle injury. **** happens.

Really hope this is a lingering week-to-week injury and not a season ender. That offense was just humming along and Evans was unstoppable finally running slants and comebacks.

Even if he’s 75%, him bring on the field would be huge. Brown and Godwin are gelling so well they could provide a lot of that extra output. But losing Evans entirely would be devastating...obviously for any team to lose a player like that.

BB didn't generally rest players before the half in game 16.

I'm not a big fan of resting players.

I think it is important that a team go into the playoff hot and on a win streak. We saw that 1st hand with the Giants in 2007 and 2011 who were hot garbage the 1st half of the season then got hot and entered the post season on winning streaks.

Lots of deep throws. I don't remember how often the NE 2007 season threw deep other than it was the most in Brady's time in NE. I'm guessing this Tampa team throws it deep even more.

First down at about the 15 yard line with 25 seconds left and clock running with one timeout.

First down there was no reason to spike it. More than enough time to run three plays and just a wasted down.

Second down, why the hell is Fournette in the game over Vaughn when it’s a pass-only situation? Predictably Fournette blows it, failing to get to the sideline (was he even trying to?)

Then no timeout as the clock runs from 20 seconds all the way down to 10.

The third down play was well designed despite Brate slipping, but why rush it like that?

They're already in the playoff. And in the playoff, you can't hide from or duck anyone. You eventually face the best.
