OT: Official 2020 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

The maddening thing is that they don't change a single thing to exploit the weakness every team presents them with, every week.

It's as if Braindead Leftwich and Toilet Bowles don't do any homework during the week, they just bring the same old cookie-cutter ****, week in, week out.

But the worst thing is seeing Brady looking at the surface tablet after every drive, analyzing what the D is giving him, going over it with his backup QB, and Braindead Leftwich nowhere in sight. I'm starting to think it's not because Leftwich is lazy, it's because he just doesn't know how to break **** down.
Yeah, it's insane.

You would think if the best player in NFL history fell in your lap, that you would just be like "Tell me what to do". Its not an indictment, it's just smart.

Tampa will probably not ask Brady back for next year, even though the move they should make is to fire Arians and all his assistants.
With 30Td to 11 int and a 8-5 record, why wouldn't Tampa want Brady back. Plus Brady is guaranteed $25mil in 2021. So the only way Brady is not back is if he retires or asks to be traded to NE or SF.

Maybe if they bring in McDaniels as OC and assistant head coach, the offense will work more smoothly. I still don't know how bad or good Arians is but a better OC might help.

Especially Braindead Leftwich who was just an average QB in his time- and is in over his head as a OC. You'd think he'd shelf his ego and ask the one QB who has seen every possible defensive formation and personnel in his 20 years in the league.

Not a single QB they could get in the offseason that would be equivalent or an improvement, even over a 43/44 year old brady. People see him with 30 tds/11 picks on an 8-5 playoff bound team and see it as a season that had even MORE potential. Bar is high, it's kind of amazing.

"I learned everything I know from Marv...thanks coach!"

At last, they started motioning guys. They motions more this game than all season combined.

what’s baffle me the most is they can’t hit guys in the middle of the field. You would think that on play action you should be able to hit Godwin or Brown in the middle of the field a lot but no, everything is on the outside!

The winning formula in my opinion is, run the football and play action a lot and Brady will destroy defenses. All his good passes today have come on play action.

I saw changes this game guys. I saw McCoy thank goodness and he looked good both running and receiving. I saw motion. I saw some screens. I saw play action on first down a couple of times. There was definitely some good things that changed up from the bye week. McCoy probably being the biggest one. The story of this game though was the defense being so bad until they finally started to send the extra blitzer. I think TOP was 40 to 20. Also the Vikings kicker should be fired today.

Seeing things like this shows how big the gap between Bill and the rest of the coaches really is.

New team and system and Tom has 30 TDs with 3 games left. And people are acting like he’s washed up.

He’s done very well against crappy teams with the exception of GB. He’s 0-5 against everyone else.

LOL. No kidding. 8-5 and in position for the playoffs just like always.

Would have been nice if doing well against crappy teams was a trait of our team this year. Turn two of our losses against losing teams to wins and the Pats are 8-5 and in good shape for the playoffs.

Although that would probably mean Cam is resigned to big money and at this point I’m not sure if that’s the best thing.

Yeah. That is the difference between the playoffs and going home. Pats have 3 losses vs losing teams and the Bucs have 1 loss.

There's no doubt he's better than Cam, but Brady would have 17-20 TDs in our offense and he'd be moody over our crappy receivers.

That's why he left. Our roster is putrid. 30 TDs must feel so good with 3 games to go.

Maybe but I still think Brady flips the Bills and Broncos losses into wins giving us 8-5. I don’t think any wins turn into losses, as I can’t point at QB play being a reason why we won a game this year. And of course there would be no silly QB controversy over Stidham.

Doesn't mean a damn thing if you can't win against top teams consistently. Tampa has yet to do that. They won't even get tested until the divisional round. Frankly, if MN had a better kicker they could have lost today.
