This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.

The best news about Harry from last night is that he wasn't one of the reasons we lost...like he almost usually is...

So we have that going for us...
Sadly, Harry could legitimately be named a top 3 Patriots star in last night's game....just behind Jake Bailey and the intern who tapes ankles

Those are the kind of plays harry needs to make. I'm cautiously optimistic. 2 weeks in a row he's made positive plays

It would be nice if he could start stringing together 5 or 6 athletic plays per game, not 2 or 3. I think it is coming together for him. If we only had a QB.

Harry has mediocre talent on his very best day. There's ample evidence that Belichick is totally clueless as a drafter. However he is uniquely horrendous at drafting WR's.

While I don't think Harry will ever be a pro bowl talent I do feel like he's been better in recent weeks and if he had a competent person to throw him the ball he could reach say David Givens level as a ceiling which I think all of us would take. He's never going to be Metcalf, Brown or Samuel all of whom they should have taken with that pick and he'll always be judge by that.

I have a hard time wrapping my head around the idea that "Belichick is totally clueless as a drafter", for instance the draft this year has shown to be fantastic so far.

Are you f'ing serious? Fantastic?

Ok let's start with drafting a kicker in the 5th round. Complete waste of a pick to begin with but compounding the utter stupidity of it, the stiff predictably didn't make the team.

How are the two 3rd round TE's working out? Let's see... I know the genius says "stats are for losers" when it suits his argument but 1 reception for 8 yards. Clearly not "fantastic."

The other 3rd round pick, LB Jennings is averaging 1 tackle per game.

So far the 3rd and 5th round picks are completely useless.

The other LB's taken, 2nd rounder Uche has 5 tackles and 6th rounder Maluia has 0 tackles. Both useless.

This is so futile because obviously the 2020 draft class is collectively awful as is your take. Dugger is the only player worth considering at all and he is not by any means having a fantastic season.

Belichick's last several drafts have been horrendously bad. Hence the minimal young talent reflected on the roster.

Also I know alot of people like Dugger, but the secondary was probably the only position group we could have afforded to not draft someone. It's good he's working out, but even that was clearly a situation of "the position we needed was WR and a run at that position happened right before us and we didn't make a move to go up and grab one so we sat and watched them all dissapear and then right before our pick the last one left, so Bill traded out and went to his comfort of taking a secondary guy in the 2nd". Dugger himself isn't a bad addition, but the situation around it was a problem. Jefferson went 1 pick before us and he looks like a stud already. Jerry Jeudy went 15th and we were 23rd, he is a baller. Would people here be upset if we didn't get Dugger and traded the pick that got Jennings and/or Asiasi for Jeudy or just flat out got Jefferson in exchange for Dugger and a low round pick?

Because having either one of them is something that would fundamentally change an offense with a lack of quality pass catchers. It would give us a clear number 1 that can get seperation and take on the work load and then free up everyone else.

I appreciate your feedback and passion, but I have a hard time seeing this recent draft as a huge problem. I really am encouraged by this draft class and can't wait to see them gel next off-season. Obviously not every draft pick will work out, but overall I think BB does an amazing job finding the right guys for his style of coaching.

I am a "proud Pats homer" going on almost 50 years, I'm not gonna change being positive and hopeful for our players and coaches. I just enjoy rooting for the teams I care about (from youth sports to pros) and not focusing too much on the negative. There is enough of that in the world in general. However, everyone has a right to enjoy sports in the manner they choose and I learn a lot about the team by hearing all viewpoints. Go Pats!

Are we talking football or the meaning of life? I think Monty Python settled the latter decades ago.

I know you're all about sunshine, fun and positivity but I don't think Earth will spin off it's axle and careen into the Sun if we realistically critique the draft.

Go Socrates!

What about uche onwenu and herron? These guys are showing lots of promise for the future. Onwenu already a big impact and Herron good back up maybe better than JE at OT so these guys are looking like keepers. Jennings Asiasi and Keene need time. Jennings may look like a run stopper LB /Edge only like Simon Bentley due to lack of speed but it is way to early to judge him. Our passing offense sucks, so its hard to eveluate the TE. Also they had injuries and its hard to learn the TE position in our offense regarding recent reports. The only waist pick was the 7th rounder who retired. The kicker isn't looking good so far but its still early. Can stay on the PS..so this draft was one of the better drafts we had

This quote from his outside trainer isn't great. Says Harry has to work on quickness, acceleration, separation. It's like saying a QB should work on reading a defense. Also on the excuse making, He forgets Harry had Brady last year.

Either Harry is telling this trainer it's Cam's fault or the trainer is just covering for his client's subpar results. Either way that trainer is an idiot.

working on speed/quickness drills with Harriet is like training a sloth to race against a group of cheetahs
