Honestly, I don’t think it’s his age. They are just not a group on offense. It’s a sum of individualities. There is no cohesion. So when you play bad defenses, you can win with just talent but when you play really good defenses, just the talent is not enough.

He doesn't look that much better than last year, TBH. His numbers are better because the Bucs beat up on a lot of crappy opponents (except GB and Oak). He's made some sensational throws like the one to Brown last night in the first quarter in between two defenders. But he's also made some incredibly bad ones.

Arians also said Brady makes all those throws in practice...yeah when he knows he won't be hit but it's a different story when the red jersey is off.

I had the Bucs going 13-3 at worst with the O-line and secondary as the biggest worry. But, it's bizarre seeing TB losing games the way he has this season. He looks fine physically, but there's just something off with the way he's seeing the field. He's underachieved big time with the amount of talent he has on the field.

One of the biggest misnomers about QBs who lose their arm strength is that they all start throwing ducks. Many QBs who start to lose arm strength can still huck the ball down field. They just lose their accuracy. And many times it causes them to overthrow receivers than underthrow them. This is caused because they start to put far more push on the ball.

Maybe rather than trying to make Brady fit Arians offense they should make the offense fit Bradys that has lead to 6 championships.

When Manning went to denver they essentially ran the colts offense. They didnt make Peyton learn a whole new system.

Honestly how f**king terrible is Arians, Belichick gave Brady these guys and he won 3 out of 4 SBs and in the 1 loss set SB records.

Weird how Belichick got Brady guys that could do what he needed. Got Arians over here with 3 All-Pro WRs and he's f**king clueless. Some "offensive mastermind"

That means you'll be back if TB loses.
Of course this thread is meant for those who follow TB12 and his future endeavor win or lose. A lot of you only come when he loses though

3 All Pro WRs n HOF TE but still looks like needing more weapons?

For what? So he can throw the ball, not near them? Or to practice shaking hands with them?

Doubt his coaches will let him but I think if Brady can get the reins off and call his own plays like he did in NE over the years - then I think that offense will live up to its hype or at least closer to it.

Here we go again with the myth of Brady being a play caller. I don't get why people want to overexaggerate his role to an absurd extent.

An 0 for 20 streak on +20 yd attempts............

It is Arians' fault......

............for signing a screen/short pass specialist

The Bucs would be best served by making their run game more of a priority and utilizing Fournette as the double threat he is.
Play Action Tompa instead of Deep Strike & Miss Tompa.
So many TEs.....so underutilized.
The Bucs offense needs to establish an identity soon

As expected looks like Brady could benefit from a GOAT coach and looks like Belichick could benefit from a GOAT QB

.

I agree, but I don't think the Pats would be a whole lot better with a 43-year-old Brady....

I said it several months ago, but the way for Brady to succeed in Tampa is if it's a run-first oriented offense with the expectation that Brady be spectacular 3-4 times per game like he was in 2018 here in NE. They have a solid defense and a good running game. Why not let the focus of the offense be on Ronald Jones? If I were Arians, I would look at what McD did in NE in late 2018. You can have all the Gronks, Browns, Godwards, and Evans as you want, but it's too much to ask a 43-year-old to be flinging the ball all over the field with poor pass blocking...the focus of their 2021 offseason should be to upgrade their offensive line so that it can run block in particular. You win football games at the line of scrimmage, not with fancy-ass players on offense.

Oh, I think they want to run the ball, they just can’t. Their running game is too inconsistent. Don’t let he numbers fools you. Ro Jo is like Blount. He runs for 2 to 3 yards a carry and sometime he breaks for one big.

I don’t know why but Fournette is not good this year either running or catching.
He had like 4 drops against Rams. What can you do when you want to throw the balls to your backs but they can’t catch them.

If that's the case, either they need to give the ball more to Fournette and/or upgrade their o-line in the offseason to one that is more run-oriented. It's really the only way for this Brady experiment to work.

I don’t want to sound like I absolve Brady any blame because he is in part responsible. He has struggled against good D and played really well against weaker teams.

The entire team has struggled against the good teams. The receiver were not perfect every game either as was the defense. I just think the coaching staff doesn’t put them in a great situation. The problem isn’t coming from the QB alone.
