OT: Official 2020 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Brady is what I thought he would be - the same guy we're accustomed to when given talent around him. Quite shocked the board is still sleeping on the fact of how much Brady was laughing at his WR's last year in NE after the play (Harry in particular). If you couldn't tell he didn't like the skill players the Pats had, then I don't know what to tell you because it was quite obvious.

Had Gronk not quit, Brown kept his fingers off the damn phone, Gordon not quit on the team again, Harry a stud his first year, the Pats are most likely celebrating their 7th Lombardi last year, Brady stays and we're discussing #8 right now.

From the GOAT to just 'Tommy': How Tom Brady has meshed with Tampa teammates

... That's what these past six months have been like for all Brady's new teammates and coaches, who travel to face the Chicago Bears Thursday night (8:20 p.m. ET, Fox/NFL Network). First the "awe" factor of joining forces with a quarterback who has six Super Bowl rings, a player known as the GOAT. And then getting to know him on a level few can -- a human level -- and building trust.

They will need that bond to turn a roster with seven starters who have been to the playoffs (three who are new this year) into a championship contender...

How the hell did we lose to Foles?

On a night that Brady threw for 500+ yards.

That was a 1 in a million thing. Foles sucks.

One word... Jordan Richards. Okay, that's really two words, but you know what I mean. Lol

Seems Foles brought back his ref buddies for this game

Foles had a hot magic hand those playoffs

Like 1000 yards, 75%, 6 TDs in 3 games.

A missed false start call has completely changed this game.

I liked the part about calling a bobbled catch a fumble too when the ref they bring into the booth and announcers said no

Nick Foles has completed an NFL record 25 consecutive questionable calls against Tom Brady.

I love how Khalil Mack thought that the Marpet holding call was a late hit against him. He was very upset. But no way did he think he was being held.

Love Brady giving it to the OL before was great to see.

definitely one thing he is missing is the discipline of BB; I have never seen anything like that in the previous possession

It's getting harder and harder to watch the NFL when key calls in key moments get called wrong. I don't blame the ref too much, but if you're not sure if it's a personal foul, you can't throw the flag there late in the game. You just gave Chicago a turnover.

The NFL absolutely needs replay there.

Wow--Brady screwed that up big time! Bad job by Tampa all night. Penalties. Totally unimaginative offense. Horrible pass blocking. Couldn't have laid a bigger egg.

The only thing I'll say is that Chicago got a huge boost with that questionable overturn of the fumble. That was worth 7 points.
