OT: Official 2020 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

I was watching Gronk closely on Sunday and there were many times where the Bucs had 3 TEs on the field and he stayed in to chip block. During one play he was blocking/man handling Bosa. He is still a stud in the blocking game and is slowly starting to have impact in the passing game as well.

Good news that Evans is playing. Thought for sure he would be out with the ankle. Good that Miller is playing too.

Been saying for years that Brady moving around the pocket and getting the ball out quick makes his OL look really good.

We've had talented players there over the years, but even washed up ALL Pros like Brian Waters came to New England and they looked great.

We forget the guys we picked up off the scrap heap and turned into solid starters, order the guys drafted after the 4th round. But there are so many of them: Joe Andruzzi, Grant Williams, Mike Compton, Tom Ashworth, Dan Koppen, Steve Neal, Dan Connolly, Ryan Wendell, David Andrews.

For sure, we expended some draft capital on players like Matt Light, Logan Mankins, Sebastain Vollmer, Nate Solder... but mostly we grabbed those UDFAs, or never played college football before, and plugged them into the line.
Almost like sacks are a QB stat

Again?
I guess if you go back 13 years to 2007 then “again” somewhat fits

Yeah...how strange. Brady is a “short pass” guys but then becomes awesome at the deep ball when Randy Moss comes aboard. Then he throws it a lot less for years, besides using the deep seam with Gronkowski. Then he is great again as Josh Gordon is there for a short stretch. Then he throws it less.

Now he‘s throwing it well again with guys who excel at downfield routes...Mike Evans, Scotty Miller, etc.

I guess Brady’s arm strength just coincides with the personnel?

Keep the laughs coming, Borg! You're in rare form today!

Imagine being a Patriots fan during their dynasty, watching the laughable jealousy-hate that people have for Brady, and then becoming one of those jealous haters.

I love rooting for Brady and watch every Tampa game. What gets ridiculously silly is when people can't just enjoy what Tom is doing and try to throw in digs at BB. Those people need to let it go and just enjoy. At the end of the day Brady chose to go and he didn't even engage NE in negotiations.

Seriously, who could adjust to the ball and catch it while being blanketed the way Evans did in the 4th quarter on Sunday? Even if we don't want to go back years, then last season... who on the roster makes a catch like that?
