Takeaways:
1) Hoyer & Stidham are both god awful. That was the worst QB performance I've seen from Patriots players over the course of 20 years. Hoyer threw a wretched INT, didn't realize we'd used our last time out cost us points, fumbled in the red zone, sailed passes left and right. Stidham wasn't much better. Just an absolute total dog **** INT in the end zone. He didn't even overthrow the receiver it was under thrown. He might have had a TD there. I hope Cam is able to return next week, I really can't bear to watch quarterbacking like that again. Thank God we signed Cam.
2) Damien Harris is the RB of the future for us. In one play I saw more breakaway speed than Sony has ever shown. His vision needs work as there seemed to be opportunities where he could found running lanes if he bounced to the outside but instead he plowed right into a crowd. His first game though and he put up 100.
3) Defense played great. It's a shame that the offense was so unbelievably putrid because a strong defensive effort against an elite offense was wasted. Still some encouraging signs there. The Pats D missed two golden opportunities for gimme interceptions.
If Cam was out there we'd have won. Alas.
