My theory is that Brady is unhappy that he's trailing Brees in regular season passing TD's, even though he's blowing everyone away by miles if the playoffs are counted. Week 3 hasn't even been completed yet I've already heard it mentioned numerous times that Brees is the TD passing leader in NYFL history, even though he isn't.

I also think that Brees would have retired if Brady had and Brady is trying to make up for the 4 games that were taken away from him by Goody & the 32, which is the only reason he's trailing. My money is on Brady.
If anybody showing signs of age, it is Brees. To be fair to him though he's missing Michael Thomas. I'll give it 3 more weeks to fairly judge both of them.

I tried to post another one for you Triumph but it was too big!

He definitely would have retired if Brady had. Too bad for him he's pretty much cooked and all Brady has to do is play 1 season longer. Brady also hasn't had the benefit of at least 9 dome games every season

Over the last 5 games Brady has average 593 passes per 16 game season.

Through 3 games he is on pace for 581 passes this year. He had 613 last year
Okay?

That's another thing that's amazing about Brady's passing. He played far more games in colder, outdoor climates than Brees and many other QB's.

Bit much, the Bucs' twitter feed posting the current standings. Yes, things seem to be going quite well for Tampa, but when you look closer you see they've lost to the Saints and beaten two horrible teams. Yesterday's starting QB says it all.

TwitterBoy / TwitterGal should wait until Halloween, at least.

Did you have to put down the tissues and hand cream for a second? You stated that Tampa's offense was only going to improve. I stated unless the 43 year old qb, who has had nagging injuries the past 3 or 4 years developed those same injuries again this year. And you immediately attacked me. Do you have to go get another purple pill?

I'm trying to get into the Bucs and Brady - I really am. Bradyites are watching with hearts and stars coming out of their eyes like squealing fangirls watching their favorite pop star but for me I'm just  I started watching yesterday and then changed the channel. Sorry if that offends the Bradyites I know they're hyper sensitive about any perceived criticism of their idol - which this isn't. I just think my team is much more exciting to watch win or lose.

What's awesome though is my team hasn't crashed and burned out of the gate without Brady like the Belichick bashers wanted them to and that really annoys them. Tee hee! I mean, to think they had the audacity to demand the rest of us buy into the crap takes that Belichick really is a bad coach without Brady. LMAO. Now they know where to shove those takes.

Anyway I doubt I'll be posting in this topic too much going forward. Maybe if Brady's Bucs start dominating on offense like the Ravens did last year I might tune back in. Even though my team is better off today than they would have been if Brady stayed, I really do wish Brady well. He did play well yesterday from what I saw of him. Though I'd say it was more the kind of "playing well" that is non descript and you'd forget about in a few days.

I don't really care. He is a 43 year old qb that left the pats for more years and money. The last few seasons he played through injuries that many think hampered his play. Listen we all get it. A few of you will root for Brady before the Pats, that is fine, you should probably be on another site, Tampa may even have one. Deus was at least honest and said he was going to leave the site after Brady left, although he has stayed around to complain about players on the team who are doing better than they did last year . Did Tom wave at you one time to make you his BFF? Do you have sparkly Brady posters over your bed next to your unicorn pictures? Jesus Man grow up.

Based on 3 weeks of results, the Bucc’s schedule appears to have softened a bit and the Saints have taken a step or two backwards. Barring significant injuries, the Bucc’s should be fighting for #1 seed.
Tompa Boy chose well

So much fail in one post that I don't know how you managed to fit it all in.

My favorite are all the posters in here falling all over themselves to tell the rest of us how much they don't care about Brady and what happens to him yet continually post in here over and over telling us how much they don't care.

And the stats on cold weather v. dome/warm weather games are significant. Brady in fact over his career has a 10+ higher passer rating in domes than he does outdoors. Especially impressive when you consider almost all those domed games are away at opposition's home (Super Bowls the only exception).

Not sure when Moosekill became a Patriots fan, but many of us went through very hard times with the Patriots starting in the mid 1970s, and some since the 1960s. What being a Patriots fan for so long teaches you is that you root for the laundry, but life is way too short not to root for the players to do well too. I even rooted for Deion Branch when he left because I really liked Deion and did not blame him that he wanted to secure more than what we were offering him, especially given his specific family situation.

It's a game played by human beings, so we like and appreciate the ones that do things the right way. Tom Brady is definitely one of those. He gave more to this franchise than any player has ever given to his franchise, certainly in the free agency era.

You can't run on Denver. That is why the game plan was so pass heavy. They doubled Evans which left one-on-one everywhere else so it was easy pickings for Brady for the most part. His arm looks really good. I doubt he gets fatigue later. It has occurred to me recently that perhaps the struggles we thought he was having the last 2 years in NE due to age was more to do with the team and his lack of confidence in the skill guys especially (except for Edelman) which is why he looked so different. I have not seen him with this type of command and confidence in the pocket since 2017 when he won league MVP.

No? Not against San Diego in the playoffs a mere 18 months ago? He's had great games even with the Patriots receivers.

I still say that even though it was basically Edelman and no one out there last year, we could have made out if we had a better offensive line. This is the big difference IMO. Cam doesn't have many weapons to work with but when Andrews gets back, it's going to be a really solid OL with Wynn instead of Newhouse, and a healthy Mason and even Eluemenor over a hurt Cannon.

Yeah, it's very easy to ignore a thread, yet they don't seem to be able to do that. It's almost as if they're completely full of ****.

I was talking about the regular season. You are right about the 2018 post-season - he was great during that run.

I agree about the Oline. What a difference when you can run. I hope we stay healthy this year.
