Rotational blocker and redzone target. Let’s be real, they had the money and it made Tom happy
Exactly. They had the money for this year. Gronk will be effective blocking all year and get some red zone looks.

He was one of those posters who promised to leave once Brady left...unfortunately he's still here...
He's not alone either, obviously. Were NEVER true Pats fans. Not talking about those of us who will always admire and appreciate everything the GOAT did for the team, the area and all of us. But, he's gone. I don't wish for him to fail nor do I wish for him to succeed. I honestly just don't care unless it affects the Patriot team's fortunes one way or the other. There's nothing wrong at all with being a Brady fan first and a Pats fan second. Just have the balls to admit it.

Like to see him get one more just to cement the Jordan thing. If it isn’t already

Personally, I love what Brady did for the team. But at this stage it looks like Newton is better and significantly cheaper to boot. As another poster stated earlier, when Bill makes a decision on a player, he doesn't look at the name on the back of the jersey.

I'm amazed on how so many people anoint teams every year after just a couple of games.

and with that a team like Tampa who has a newQB and no offense an to get together absolutely comical some people in here. But than again they have no loyalty and just hate Brady for not retiring when BB showed him the door.

Back to the foolish comment the original guy said. Tampa probably has a top 8 defense that should still get better with a young secondary how can you sleep on a team with that type of defense. The offense will keep getting better as Brady/Evans already look better together, Miller looks good in the slot and has Brady’s trust, Godwin looked vs the Saints, and the run game has already got better with Fournette.

Some of you are foolish and sound like the week 2 super bowl champion Jaguars from a couple years back

There are a lot of different types of TRUE Patriots fans. You can be a true one and want Brady to play well for Tampa. I want him to succeed. I'm a Patriots fan.

I think you're fine. I previously mistook you for a Brady fan - i.e., one that just follows Brady around everywhere. It's fine to want him to do well, but there are people here who are literally following everything Bucs. I almost guarantee you they are following them on social media and posting on their message boards. In my view, you should be really invested in ONE team and casually follow other teams who might have players you like, etc.

I've never suggested someone who thinks as you do isn't.

And you post here as much if not more than the ones you criticize desperately trying to piss in their cheerios because being a Brady fan is some kind of threat to you. Why are you so threatened by them? Why do you post here....to get winners and likes from sb1?

Because those people deserve to be called out for being Brady fans rather than Pats fans...are you really asking me that?

I agree. Tampa is a solid team and a young team too. They will continue to progress and be a legit threat in the NFC. You could already see the jump from week one to week two. Less penalties, more in sync on both sides of the ball, better coaching. Their schedule is favorable too the next few weeks so they can gel even more against weaker competition.

Also, their last 4 games of the season are Minny, Atlanta, Detroit, Atlanta. What a sweet line up should they need to win out to secure one of the top seeds.

Poor TommyBrady12, the fair weather fan from DC that follows all local DC/VA teams except for their Football team. He came here using the TommyBrady12 handle to fit in since his football takes were trash. Now, upset because he wanted the GOAT to retire a Patriot so his handle didn't look ridiculous once he went to play for another team, he spends all his time (#4 poster) trolling a Tom Brady/Buc thread to get attention.

TommyBrady12 is so dumb that he doesn't even realize he's the only one actively promoting the GOAT's TB12 clinic and products on the Brady/Bucs thread. Hey maybe if he writes a letter to the GOAT he can convince him to retire, so TommyBrady12 doesn't continue to look like a total tool on a Patriots forum for using the Bucs QB moniker.

I'm not from DC. I just live here now. I already explained that to you. And I already explained to you that I went to UVA, which is probably a better school than you went to, if you even made it to college.

Warning has been issued.
Poor TommyBrady12, he posts on a Boston team forum but doesn't even try to hide his bandwagoning ways "From the Most Powerful City on Earth." What a clown.
