NFL Week 2 games discussion

Anyway it’s obvious the AFCE is a 2 team division. Looking forward to our games.

Until the Bills get a consistent QB they won't go anywhere except into the low 20s in the draft.

and the chiefs might as well rent out an urgent care for this game

Tre Whire doesn’t drop the pick-6.

Refs don’t call a terrible blocking in the back that removed a Bills 1st down in the redzone...

Oh were not counting the things that didn’t go Buffalo’s away?

Sorry, continue on.

Excuses, excuses.
Bills gave up 28 pts to Miami lol
Pats allowed only 11 pts to Miami
Buffalo D is several steps below NE's

damn, Baltimore got a TO....this is getting out of hand !

Ceedee Lamb just put up 117 receiving yards in his second NFL game as a rookie after covid training camp.

Meanwhile Harry has 120 total career receiving yards and averages only 8 yards per catch
.
Here’s the truth : if you look at Dallas’ first round picks - they’ve hit on almost every single one in the last decade+. Here’s another truth : Dallas has been underachieving since the mid 90s and have nothing to show for all their « draft success » except for tears and disappointment.

Would you prefer the Cowboys’ recent first round success or NE’s recent SB success ?

Bills dropped 31 on them.
And for the first 54 of them, they had only dropped 17 on them. Remember that? Literally the same argument you used against the Pats saying they only dropped 14 through 54 minutes. I guess the Bills are a huge offensive juggernaut then, putting a whole extra field goal on the scoreboard against the Dolphins compared to the Pats.

Brady was better today but lets get real about his opponent - Carolina is one of the worst teams in the league and had one of the league's worst DB groups, even before losing Eli Apple to IR. They lost Reid and Bradberry in the offseason and started training camp legitimately not knowing who either of their two starting cornerbacks would be. You don't sign Trumaine Johnson to a contract, even a practice squad gig, unless you are in deep sh*t at CB. They were also missing two starters on the DL today (Yes, I know that the the Bucs were without Godwin).

A win is a win but a SB contender should blow out a team like the Panthers, especially one with an offense that many were predicting would be unstoppable prior to the start of the season. It was a one score game, 24-17, with just under 2 minutes to go. Color me unimpressed.

Watching kc/la. Herbert looking good in his debut

wow, SD with a TD...this kid is looking good in his NFL debut so far.

Herbert nice td pass on a 70yd+ drive. 14-6 over kc

Gotta think KC needs to score this year. I’m not convinced they’ll be consistently stopping quality O’s.

Sometimes, an injury to some players could be addition by subtraction.

Exactly my point about the Pats last week...
I love this guy. They are giving you a hard time, but let’s keep it real « how you beat a common opponent » doesn’t mean much in the NFL. It’ll be interesting to see how the teams stack up this season, head to head.

Yea 8 don't think it's a binary choice. Obviously. But point remains that many rookie or first year receivers have been producing 10X more than first round pick NKeal Harry.

Yep. Thats pretty much it. Of course division games are crapshoots most of the time, but the way this Bucs team was talked up here and other places this result shouldn't happen. Funny, came across Felger and Mazz last week and Mazz was trying to say the Peyton struggled his first game in Denver, then was corrected when he was told Gomer threw 5 TD passes lol. Nothing to say after that.

KC being brought down to earth. Premature predictions of goats and dynasties being snuffed before traction. I love it.

Upset watch:
Titans/Jags
Chargers/Chiefs

Had Ravens/Texans but didn’t know Hopkins is out. Will be tough. Instead I’ll go with Dolphins/Bills as an upset candidate
Your Chargers upset pick looking good so far
