I can't wait till Brady and Belichick write their books after retirement. I'll be getting both for sure.

This is why I really hate Arians and think he sucks...well before Brady got there I’ve despised him.

Trying to force targets and game plans regardless of the opponent/scheme is beyond stupid. His teams are often feast or famine from week to week.
100%

You can chalk up at the board of things suddenly a 43-year old veteran QB is going to have to learn in the NFL: Coaches are different. You were with arguably the best of them all for 20 years. He needs to be ready for things he never thought would come up in your life (of course, thats a lot of assumptions, but still, this list can get pretty big if we think about it...)

Again, Im saying those facts only because I think this Bucs team has a veeeeery good potential for drama down the line. Since TB left, I realised that I love him as an athlete, I dont really like him as person (and yes, Im a hypocrite :excited::rofl:)

The joy some of you guys are having celebrating the eventual career end of the greatest quarterback the league has ever known....that did it on our team over 20 years is shameful. 20 years! Its not even sad for you. Instead you laugh at any mistake he makes and can't wait for the next one. Such hollow and selfish "fans" you were. I can't take any of your cheering for the Pats seriously now. Next week or next year you'll turn on whomever isn't entertaining you sufficiently anymore. How hollow.

I've never gotten the media's portrayal of Arians, I hate the guy and playing for him sounds miserable in all the worst ways. I'm sure it's miserable to play for Bill but at least it's the kind of miserable that really pays off haha.

Scratching my head here. What do you mean by this? By any comparison I can think of, the guy is a model teammate.

They don't like him because he isn't posting social media videos about how much he misses us and even *gasp* he dare be happy that he is a Buccaneer.

Pathetic really. Say a bunch of things about Brady being an issue for not trusting crappy receivers. Then when the evidence is presented that every crappy receiver he didn't trust did absolutely nothing outside of New England just pull the old "oh well I just don't care" and put your nose in the air is laughable.
It’s also stupid and revisionist too. Brady’s always been this way. He became the GOAT knowing who to and not throw to. If you are not trustworthy, you better be wide open or else he’s going to lead you and make you go make an effort so the ball is safe

Godwin on concussion protocol. Luckily for them they play the Panthers.

But there is someone in this thread who is constantly bashing Brady who points out how much better the new QB was and how he had a better game despite arriving later to his new team... disregarding that the new QB plays for a coach and coordinator who change things up to match his talents, and rightfully so, while the other is an overrated coach who believes in his system to the detriment of his team's skillset.

It absolutely is shameful and reminds me that this is sadly human nature. It's self-centered.

TB12 and BB were the perfect match. Driven, focused, demanding individuals who care(d) about winning.

At some point recently, TB12 lost the "win at all costs" thread and decided he wanted to play in a environment that was more personally fulfilling, and would allow him to pass a lot while being surrounded by loads of receiving talent. That's not to say that TB12 no longer cares about winning at all, but if winning was truly his #1 priority he would've stayed in New England.

When you look at the holistic picture, including coaching and the defense, it's clear that the Patriots/Belichick give him (and any QB) a better chance of winning more games than does Tampa/Arians.

I really think TB12 is going to regret this decision. Still a lot of the season in front of us, but you don't go from Belichick to Arians and not experience a culture shock and a lot of frustration.

Him selling BS medicine **** with Guerrero for years (at an expensive price, no less) is clear evidence, to me of course, that i would not like to talk to Tom Brady in person at lenght

He does sound like an awesome teammate tho, ngl

"Shameful"? Hmm.

I see very little celebration of the end of TB's career - basically no one is saying that.

I see some people who feel validated and satisfied seeing TB12 leave New England (because he felt the team wasn't prioritizing his success) only to go to Arians/Tampa and struggle in the first game of the season.

A lot of people (myself included) felt that New England gave him the best shot to win games and have success ... I will continue to believe that, however that are a lot of games left to be played.

Bruce Arians is an offensive coaching genius who was responsible for the solid offenses of Ben Roethlesberger, Andrew Luck, and Carson Palmer, and only lost when they and his teams didn’t execute as he asked. If you didn’t realize this, just ask him.

Yeah well thats because Brady threw him a hospital ball. I knew I had seen that but I wasn't certain and thought maybe I had mistaken. But nope, I remember that play and thinking..oh no and sure enough.

Also this "they play the panthers" is a joke. Division game, plus Bridgewater isn't a scrub and offense isn't terrible either. This isn't the cake walk everyone thinks it will be. No fans either in Tampa so I with all the noise surrounding Tampa I take Carolina in this one.

Tampa Bay doesn't have much choice but to use propaganda. They're the worst team in the history of the NYFL... by a mile.
Check out the long history of the Arizona Cardinals, an original NFL franchise. In its 100 years, it has 2 NFL championships (one disputed), and 2 other championship game losses.
List of Arizona Cardinals seasons - Wikipedia

They’re the clear #1 for worst team in NFL history. Definitely a solid argument for the Bucs as #2, but there are other franchises that could make an claim for that “honor” (including the Jets who are actual #2....).

Interesting that Arians has coached both these teams.....

Tampa is favored by 10, but by all means, believe that Carolina is more likely to win.

Lines mean nothing. That is all predictive on hope that the Bucs round into form. If Godwin doesn't go, that makes it tougher. The entire off season, all it was from everyone was 16-0, best team ever, SB or bust. Now, after an unsteady at best opener, we have a coach laying into Brady, not once, but twice, calling him and Gronk out. Add to that the whole we need to get Evans a minimum of 10 targets a day and how people can say things are rosy down there and status quo is crazy to me. Yes, they should win, but the noise is getting more and more deafening by the day and that never is good for a football team. You want calm, quiet and no distractions.

I was going by won/lost %.
