I feel like I watched a different game than most of you

- It was all his legs. I'm not against running but keep in mind that Miami was DEAD LAST (#32) in the league last year in passing defense. They gave up 39 passing TD's last year and 4,200 passing yards. Yet Cam couldn't squeak out more than 155 yards, 0 TD's and a 79 QBR?
It isn't like the Dolphins signed /drafted a whole bunch of defensive players in the offseason... And for your reference, the Brady in week 17 last year managed 16-29 for 221 with 2 TDs/1 INT and sat at 17 points in 55 minutes.

Which is absolutely true, but NO team had a pre-season.

Seahawks scored 38
Packers scored 43
Vikings scored 34
Bills scored 27
Washington scored 27
Ravens scored 38
Raiders scored 34
Panthers scored 30
Jags scored 27
Saints score 34
Bears scored 27
Falcolns scored 25

It's not like there was a lack of scoring around the league.

They all didn't play a pre-season.

They still did more than 14 points in 55 minutes.
You are not seriously comparing scores over 60 minutes with a score missing the last 5 minutes? Some of the above teams did not manage more than 17 points until 5-6 minutes to go either.

Jesus, you’re not attempting to put it in any context at all are you haha. We have a new QB who doesn’t have much to work with for weapons....

Washington has Dwayne friggin Haskins throwing to Steven Sims and Dontrelle Inman.

Is that really worse than Cam throwing to Edelman?

Honest question.

How are you going to feel about the offensive performance last Sunday if Buffalo goes and drops 40 on Miami this week? (same added defensive players)

Give me a break.
Washington sat at 17 points with 6:20 to go compared to the Patriots at 14 points with 5:30 to go. Oh, and in case you forgot, N'Keal Harry fumbled away a surefire 3-7 points in the 3rd quarter. But I guess that's Newton's fault right?

Give me a break.

LOL, there are always anomalies, but I think the overall trend holds true.

If you're feeling this bad about a win, I think you're going to be in for a long year, especially when the losses do eventually come. It's a long season and if you've followed a Bill Belichick coached team for previous seasons, who they are now will be very different from who they'll be in December. Try and enjoy the ride a bit, we're in new territory and it will definitely be better for your sanity

Honest question.

How are you going to feel about the offensive performance last Sunday if Buffalo goes and scores 20 on Miami this week? (better receiving options)

I'm not saying that anything is or isn't Cams fault.

I'm saying to act like he played great on Sunday is just silly.

Exactly. If Harry scores, completely different ball game. There were enough positives to take away in this one where there are reasons to be encouraged. "It is what it is", but I definitely feel better about them being competitive this season than I did back in April.

To not have fans happy with a 155 yard, 0 TD (passing) performance against the worst passing defense in the NFL last year.

What makes you think that they're still the worst pass defense in the league?

No it's not.

Touche.

Wasn't impressed at all by Allen on Sunday tbh. Wouldn't shock me if that's what happens.
