I have liked Cam since day 1 in the league. He played pretty much like I expected, but he was over used today. His last run was completely unnecessary and can lead to injury.

Our receivers are a problem but Cam is used to throwing to bad groups.

Next week is going to be a challenge for Cam. I've watched him in his prime struggle against Seattle. They are no longer the legion of boom but they know how to play Cam. I'm hoping McDaniels will make a difference in this game. Im just hoping all of us don't turn on him if he struggles against this particular team and let it be his mulligan.

We just needed to get brady weapons.

He looked good. Held my breath on each of his runs.

It’s crazy to think; all these years, AFC Least teams have (unsuccessfully) attempted to build teams to counter/beat a Brady-led offense (interior pressure, cover LBs, man-cover CBs etc..) only to have to deal with a brand new offensive headache (a Newton-led RPO etc..offense.) That’s gotta suck..
Did we happen to run RPO’s today? I didn’t notice any, but possible. I did see some reads and designed QB runs though.

I have to believe the game plan was a direct result of Newton's late arrival on the team, no inter-squad scrimmages and no preseason games. I would expect the playbook to slowly expand week by week - resulting in less reliance on Cam to run the ball. Getting the new QB and the receivers on the same page is not going to happen overnight.

When he runs, I'm not holding my breath that he's gonna get hurt, but he still needs to limit it. When the game was already decided, he had no business running down the sidelines and ending up in a pile. He loves running a little too much.

He played well. Let's pump the breaks on the Grogan comparisons though. Please

He was very good today. I am tempering my expectations though. First, teams will be better prepared to defend this offense as the season goes along and they have more and more game film. Second, I am worried about his injury history.

That said, it was a great start. Let's hope he can keep it up throughout the season.

so far so good

One thing I appreciated was that he looked like a real leader on the field and everyone seemed to like playing with and for him. Maybe it's just age or maybe it was his experience in this past off season where nobody wanted him but I feel like he has matured and he's trying to not screw up his opportunity.

Good to see him protect the ball and play smart unlike that turnover machine in Tampa Bay who has 3 straight games with pick 6s.

Just one game away from the NFL record for consecutive games with a pick 6. The chase continues next week when the Panthers visit Tompa Bay.

I thought he played well, id like to see more passing. But we did enough to win and I never felt like the Dolphins were in it

I think the spike with Andrews really showed something. He knows Andrews’ situation. That was really classy of him.
